Maria sat on her boyfriends shoulder as, he was walking through town painted as Frankenstein for his Halloween costume; while Maria was dressed up as Pikachu for her costume, holding her candy bag in her hands.

Maria held a list of the houses they needed to visit where they could get the most candy and bring it back to home base. The first stop was Keith Sadis' house. He's probley too busy to enter the door but, Maria wanted to get some candy from her instructor as she knocked on the door. Keith looks at her with a scowl, seeing Eren behind her crouched over behind her, waiting till she gets ready to leave for the next house. "Bonavarious." He spoke her last name with a stern look. "Sadis sir." Maria responded back to him in kind.

They both stared at each other for a bit till Sadis broke the silence and went to go and get the candy bowl he had and poured all the candy in it into her bag. Maria struggled lifting it and she nodded as thanks and walked onto her husbands outstretched hand as she dumped most of the candy into his bag as she climbed up his shoulder and then they headed to the other houses they needed to stop at to rid them of their candy stashes/loot.

~Time Skip~ Maria and Eren had gotten all the candy from the houses they've passed. Except for one more. Captain Levi needed to give them candy as well as Commander Erwin. Erwin would be kind enough to give us candy but Levi? Not so much. She waited for Eren to catch up by helping him out of his titan body and pulling him up through the open window. They both then headed to Erwins office as the second to last stop before they got to Levis office. Eren knocked on the door this time and Erwin opened it with a yawn. Then he smiled lightly when he saw who it was.

"Maria, Eren. What are you two doing this time of night? Aren't you supposed to be in bed by now?" Maria nodded as she held Erens hand, blushing in the process. "Well yes commander but we were wondering, do you have any spare candy you can give us perhaps?" Erwin laughed as he nodded and went over to his candy bowl and gave them both a generous amount of the candy he had.

"There you go, that should be enough for you two to have. Now, make sure you go to bed once you're done doing this. Don't forget to go to Levi and get the candies he has."

Maria nodded as she and Eren walked to the door of Levis office and knocked. "State your name and business." He said from inside his office. "Cadet Maria Bonavarious and Cadet Eren Jaeger reporting sir, may we please come inside?" She and Eren waited for a response with bated breath. "Tch, you may enter." Maria opened the door to his office, seeing him sitting in his office chair working on some paper work regarding the titans. "Uhm, Levi-Heichou. Can you please give us some candy if you have any?" Poor Eren was shaking in his boots asking the man would could kill him if he wasn't careful rather quickly.

He looked up from his paperwork at both Maria and Eren and sighed. "Fine, I guess you brats deserve some candy. Hold on." He takes off his reading glasses and places them on his desk, standing up from his chair as he grabbed the bucket of candy from his desk and gave you both an equal portion of candy. He then shooed you both away and Maria and Eren saluted and ran back to the bedroom they shared.

Maria put the full bags of candy from their spoils in the closet to eat for later after a meal or dinner. Eren quickly went back outside and brought the other bags of candy into the bedroom and Maria helped him bring them inside, placing them with the other bags.

Eren sat down and fell on the top of the bed with a satisfied sigh as Maria stood up to throw on her sleeping pajamas in the bathroom. When she came back out, Eren went in shortly afterwards and put on his pajamas before joining her under the covers of their bed.

She was facing away from him as, he moved in behind her and pulled her close. He kissed the top of her forehead before whispering; "Maria. I'm with you, you know that? Don't ever change. Also, thanks for spending time with me and taking care of me the best you can." Maria smiled as she felt his body relax and sleep behind her.

She turned her head around slightly to kiss his head as she responded to him in kind with a whisper. "You too Eren, thank you my beautiful husband. Don't you ever change. Sweet dreams, Humanity's Last Hope~"

Maria and Eren were walking around outside in the forest of giant trees, Maria was freezing. She thought it would be a good idea to have a nice relaxing dip in the pond nearby. Maria was so, so wrong about that choice. She was currently wrapped up in the towel she brought with her when she wanted them to have a relaxing hang out from a tough day of training.

"Brrr, why did I think coming out here was a good idea Eren? It's freezing out here. Eren, think you could warm me up babe?" Eren nods before speaking to her, putting some distance between him and Maria. As she goes behind a tree real quick to get dressed in the new change of clothes she brought with her on this short but sweet trip.

You came back to the front of the pond, just in time as a hot rush of steam hit Marias face head on. She looked up as her husband towered over her, green eyes looking at her small form. Eren bent down as the trees leafs started shaking and falling off the branches as he placed down one of his hands so she could climb onto it.

She felt herself being lifted into the air, holding onto one of his large fingers to keep from falling off his hand. He placed you on his shoulder, you snuggling into his neck with a satisfied sigh, the heat from his titan body warming you up to just the right temperature. He sat down against one of the larger trees near the lake.

You decided to yawn and fall asleep in your titan shifter husbands neck, he yawned as well as he closed his eyes. You both slept there near the lake, till the first rays of the morning sun showed up and then you both would have to make it back to headquarters before anybody would notice.

"Babe, you keep me warm; you know that? Thanks for falling in love with a girl like me." She told him in a tiny whisper in his ear as she drifted off to sleep.

Well, having a Titan shifter as a husband does have its benefits after all~

"It will be fun, trust me." Maria held her boyfriends Erens hand as they walked down a path of fallen leaves, trees surrounding them on every side. She wanted to show him something wonderful, the rising sun peaking up from behind the hills that only happens in the early mornings.

She had gotten him up at 5:00am when, he and her normally sleep in on weekends but she told him he had to come now, this is the only chance he'd get to see it.

Of course, Eren wasn't too thrilled to go but he wanted to let Maria be happy. He's normally at work so she doesn't get to really do things like this unless he has an off day from work.

"Maria, are we almost there? My legs are killing me.." Eren had said aloud, still holding onto Marias small hand as she dragged him down the path past the fallen leaves and trees, his long hair waving in the wind as she walked a little bit faster with him in tow.

They had finally reached their destination as, she went behind him and pushed his not so tired body up the incline of the hill till she got walked him to a bench and had him sit down onto it. She followed suit and sat next to him, she moved over next to him till both of their sides were touching.

"Now, what do you think? Was it worth it waking up in the morning for this beautiful moment?" She asked him with a smile as the sun slowly showed up over the horizon, dying the clouds in reds, purples, and oranges.

"Heh yeah it really is beautiful but, not as beautiful as you Maria. Thanks. You were right, this is fun." She blushed as he told her that she was more beautiful then the sun itself.

They both then looked at each other in the eyes as, their faces got close till they closed the gap with a long and sweet kiss. Who knows? Maybe Maria should wake him up early more often, he might enjoy the next outing next October.

Maria looked at her husband, as her and Eren stood on the roof nearby looking at the Warhammer titan.

"Eren, I read one of the letters that you sent to everyone. Including me. I know this is really important to you and, you want to follow your fathers footsteps.

But killing innocent people and children, don't you think that's a bit much and cruel?" He was silent for a while before he spoke, green eyes looking into her beautiful brown ones.

"I can't come back Maria. What matters now is dealing with the Warhammer titans user so I can take its power. That's been my goal all along Maria. You know this."

Maria shook her head as she hung her head down, dejectedly. He walked over to her and lifted up her chin to look him in the eyes. "Eren why? Just why? What's the point of all of this bloodshed?"

Eren then placed both his hands on the side of her face, pulling her face close to his own. "Because Maria; I was born in this world." Her eyes went wide as she started tearing up when he pulled her into a longing sweet kiss. Maybe, he was right. Freedom is our only goal. Even if there are only going to be difficult hardships along the way, we must keep moving forward..until all our enemies are destroyed.

"No, and that's final." Eren told Maria as she was sitting on the bed in their shared bedroom in one of the newer locations outside the walls. Maria was sitting there on her bed, a look of sadness and confusion on her face. "Wh-what do you mean I can't go with you?? We've always stuck together up until now. Why can't I go with you?"

Maria grasped one of his hands as, he was pulling one of his tank tops over his head, as well as his sleeping pants before he lightly squeezed her hand, he then let it go before he walked towards the bathroom to go and brush his teeth in front of the mirror. Maria got up from their bed, to go and brush their teeth next to him.

He had finished brushing his teeth, reaching for a paper towel to wash his face after rinsing. Maria glanced at him from the corner of her eye, finished brushing her teeth as well. "Eren, why can't I come? Is it because I'd get in the way or what? You afraid I'll die?" He had stopped to throw away the paper towel and, she could tell his body language had changed when she asked him yet again.

"Maria, that's none of your concern..stop asking questions that don't need to be answered.." She froze on the spot, she knew that if he used her first name; they were going to just have a senseless argument about why she should go and why she should not go.

"Eren please, I'm your wife. You can't keep everything from me so, jut tell me!!" She flinched as she saw him look right at her, his eyes turning a deep amber color as he sized her up and backed her up against a wall. She kept backing up till her back hit it. Before she could say another word, she felt a rush of air zoom past her left cheek after she heard him yell "DAMMIT MARIA! YOU'LL NEVER UNDERSTAND WHY YOU NEED TO STAY HERE WHERE ITS SAFE!!" as his fist slammed against the wall next to her face, steam coming off of it as it was beginning to heal already.

Maria lost balance on her feet for a few seconds till, she mustered up the courage to stand up again and quickly, but carefully run back to the bed they shared; hiding her face under the covers as, tears started to fall on the mattress and the pillow she was laying on as well.

Eren looked at his hand, completely healed after what he just did in anger toward his wife. His Maria. 'What the hell is wrong with me..?' He thought to himself as, he ran one of his hands through his long hair he let grow out to his shoulders after they made it outside the walls, while he was sitting on the toilet seat. Was Maria ever going to talk to him again or, would she hate him forever?
