I made this post as a means to just justify why im inconsistent about what self insert form i tend to use w error, but i ended up thinking about too long and drew a bunch of extra insert ideas based off my ramblings.

Idk i think it's cool if a guy doesn't have a clear defined existing form so it changes based off of his environment. No this doesn't say anything about me what are you talking about.

Errored deck ship lore idea. So i know im, pretty inconsistent with my s/i, im always switching around and drawing myself differently. And I'm thinking of a way to explain that and have it make sense. Without just doing like, "shapeshifter" or smthn.

So my basic lore for my insert has always kinda been that they're a "background character" of whatever universe they're from. Like, background background. Assuming we view universes like games/stories.

Like, unnamed character in a crowd in an animated series, character with vague description in a book, unnamed character w no dialog in a video game. That kinda deal. Wanted my insert to have little to no connection to the "main characters" of their au. [Cuz otherwise there's lots of drama if they leave the universe etc etc]

And seeing as things tend to mostly be treated like a video game [erros glitches, resets, save files, ERASE, REWWRITE, etc etc] their like character file is really basic. And their sprite, model whatever is like. Named something basic too. In their universe, it's fine, no issues. They go to the anti-void?? Well, suddenly, there are conflicting files available with the same dang name. Their personality stays the same [cuz they weren't "programmed" with one so they get to be whatever they want] but after prolonged time in the anti-void void their "model"/appearance glitches and switches around randomly every now and then.

Maybe even if/when they go to other universes, there's a chance their model switches to that universe's version, whatever that is.

They're still the same person, but they look different.

Error x reader fic idea.

Ok so, error hears voices right? When hes in the anti-void. These voices are actually us, like creators and people in the fandom etc [thats how the ask blog worked, it's basically him responding to the voices/us. Especially since when blue shows up, he cant hear the questions/voices. And error has to say the ones directly asked to blue] my guy literally has a live audience at all times pretty much. [Once read a fic where the author used people's comments on the fic for the voices he heard. Was pretty cool]

Where am i going with this?

What if. One day. He hears a different voice, or notices them maybe. He tends to try and block them out most the time. Something about this particular voice intruiges him. Who is this? Can he find them?? He assumes most the voices he hears are actual people somewhere. Are they somewhere in the multiverse where he can find them??

Or basically, error experiences "there's a lady in my head who calls me studmuffin" and tries to find them. Idk. I think it could be fun.

Error has me down as Stitches, both for contact and as my nickname. I'd probably have his contact written down as like, glitch bitch or some sort of inside joke probably. Hobo hubby. Idk.
