Went for a short hike and a bush lunch today. I made steak on the Firebox, green chili shrimp over my Pathfinder Alcohol Stove and red beans and rice over my PF Alcohol stove as well. The rice and beans was a mix that was actually really tasty. Everything was really good except I feel I could have cooked the shrimp less, they were a bit rubbery, but the flavor was great! I used my Stanley Basecamp Cookset and my Pathfinder Canteen Kettle with a surplus Esbit burner to boil my coffee water. What can I say, I love bush cooking! I like messing around with all the different stoves and pots and pans. It all cooked up.nicely considering it was 0c and a 20kph wind.
