you and your friends are listening to escradio while baking cookies during a snowy day. it’s going really well, they even played molitva a few songs back!
then, as you’re taking another tray of cookies out of the oven, it cuts to the jingle, “all over europe, esc radio!” before the announcer says “this is an esc classic”. you drop the tray in horror as you hear the first notes of the next song.
they’re playing ik ben verliefd (sha-la-lie).
this song has been playing everyday in the ESC Radio and i just keep loving it more and more because it’s such a precious gem.
