being obsessed with clone troopers are nice and all until you try to draw them and you have to draw the same face over and over.
My computer finally got fixed so I have photoshop again so I cna make quotes again but first here’s something I’ve been thinking about for a whole month that I was finally able to put onto paper
I’m sorry if I missed an FAQ, but- what do you do to practice/study anatomy and how fabric flows? Do you still practice regularly, or do you mostly rely on your inherent knowledge?
ah, no you didn’t miss anything! i don’t think i really have one tbh
it might not be the most efficient way to do it but honestly, a Lot of google searches for both. usually if i’m sitting down to practice it’s bc i have a specific piece of anatomy/fabric/folds/etc that i want to work with but don’t feel comfortable with, and i don’t necessarily have a plethora of reference sites i turn to. i wouldn’t say i practice regularly (altho i definitely should), but i alter/design character often enough that i end up doing some type of study every other week or so
a lot of the time my main anatomy practice is thru poses and gestures, for which i rely a lot on @/senshistock , but i’ve got a pinterest board going for things i regularly have trouble w as well for fabric, i usually focus on a specific time period and run thru any photos of the fashion i can find and practice folds and draping from there
These two drawings are gift for @zichqec, as a thank you for drawings my OCs.
Characters belongs to @zichqec , the first one is Sorrelkit, and the second one is a portrait of Pumpkinpaw.
