Hear me OUT bc I wanna draw this, but it would be a big project that would take FOREVER. But I wanna DO IT.
Ik people have done Mafia Au's of AOT, but this is my take on it
The scouts are allied families. Each "Family" is run by a commanding officer, and their adopted children, in a sense.
Erwin is the Smith family, which formed after his father was killed by the government for uncovering their secrets and the lies to the public. He plays an aristocratic man by day, possibly a chairman or big business man. Krista, Armin, Annie, Reiner, Falco, and Porco are all Erwin's adoptive children. Krista being his first child due to him possibly saving her from the corruption of the Reiss family.
Hange is the Zoe family, a brilliant scientist who got into organized crime due to their experiments losing funding, their research being seized and stolen by hacks, and being jailed for "insane practices", as the papers published. Hange's children are Connie, Sasha, Marlo, and Marco.
Levi, the Ackerman family, an arm's dealer and heir to a smuggling and crime empire. He being Erwin's top informant and orfanizing a legion of highly trained assassins. When he took over after Kenny, he stopped the sex trafficking rings that the police and politicians indulged in, putting a target on his back. Eren, Mikasa, Pieck, and Gabi are his adoptive children.
And Miche, the Zacharius family, who was a P.I. Erwin had initially hired before he expanded his business and made a living off of it. Later becoming his best friend and confidant. His nose can sniff out corruption without question, and he trains his detectives to be just as thorough for the crime families. If there's a mole, or a rat, he will find them and end them. Miche's children are Jean, Bertholt, Ymir, and Hitch.
It actually took me a while to assign the characters to their "parent" and it mostly just indulges the family dynamics I love seeing and plan on posting. ♡
The only thing I can't decide is whether I want this to take place during the 20's, the 40's, or a mix of eras I make my own. 🤔
