soo uhmm im really bad at intros but basically ranfren characters as fish bc,.,,, i love ranfren and i love fish,,.. yay

for randal, i felt that hed be something small. maybe an anchovy or a minnow. but that didnt feel right. i felt that i was focusing too much on his looks, appearance. so, instead, i decided to base it off his personality.

randal likes to make friends. we all know this--at least, id assume so. his friendships never last long because hes so..,, overbearing. he doesnt take the other persons feelings into account. he starts friendships only to satisfy his wants, needs, and to cure his boredom. this is what "friendship" means to him. a dictatorship. and given by his behavior with sebastian, i wouldnt doubt that he likes controlling people as well. this is also shown with his dolls, or when luther turned into a dog/wolf. he was excited because he realized hed be able to boss everyone around. he is eager to control and manipulate anyone he can. his relationships are completely one sided because he has no interest in the other party. hes the only one benefitting from the partnership. hes selfish and parasitic.

..,,thats how i came to the conclusion that he would in fact NOT be a fish, but instead a leech. more specifically, a fish leech.

for luther, i thought hed be something big and majestic and colorful. mainly green and/or brown because those are the main colors i associate him with. after intensive research and thinking, i decided he'd be a peacock bass.

isnt he beautiful? peacock bass are known for being highly territorial/aggressive, intelligent, and predatory. which, i feel luther can be at times. i. e. lucid 10 the werewoof. who the hell just shoots someone like that. rednecks. and luther. also, luther is VERY intelligent. ok.,,?

no. the catmen are not catfish because theyre cats. that makes no sense. because, as i have stated, i have decided to assign them fish given their personalities. most of them. luther is..., somewhat an exception, because i couldnt find another fish who looks as DASHING as him.

first catmen..., nyen. there a lots of aggressive/territorial fish. piranha. cichlids. oscar fish. and,,.. redtail catfish. i know i said i wouldnt give the catmen catfish, but..,, i mean, redtail catfish are aggressive, and so is nyen. and, personally, i think hed either be that, or a red devil cichlid.

and now the better catman: nyon. nyon is introverted, implied to have social anxiety. or maybe its explicitly said; i dont remember and im too lazy to check. he gets scared easy and prefers to stay hidden and quiet, away from people and interaction. hes shy :3. considering these, i decided an otocinclus would fit him. ironically, this is a type of dwarf catfish.

like nyon, otocinclus are peaceful and shy. i couldnt find a fish that fit him exactly, so this will have to do.

nana is a very elegant snake. shes so pretty, her beauty transcends that of the most elegant fish. also, since shes a snake, a long and smooth body would fit her best; me thinks. and shes very big--large. very large and big. and stunning. so shed be a european conger eel (aka conger conger). maybe i based this one too much on her looks because i dont know too much about her..,, sorgy :(

the ratmen are here collectively because im wayy too tired to do them individually. ok.

my thinking is, that since the ratmen have shared thinking/feeling thru robert, theyd be a school of fish. an entire fucking school. look, we know the main ratmen arent the ONLY ratmen. there are so many other ratmen/ratwomen, but weve only been introduced to the ones we know now. the question is, do they all share roberts/each others thoughts/feelings?

but that isnt relevant to fish. moving on.

maybe.., timid fish. because rats are, well, pretty timid. trust me. theyve infested my house. (im wrong those are mice. same difference). rats are also dumb as hell. except for robert, hes the only one with a functioning brain.

satoru!!!! im very excited for this one.

satoru is randals only genuine friend. the only one who willingly submits to him. of course, this is because he created satoru. he wanted him to feel that way. he needed him to feel that way.

satoru, of course, is very attached to randal, as one is to their maker. his emotional bond is carved deeply in his chest. this feeling, however, is still one sided. because, in the end, randal only created satoru to have another person to control. the only thing different in this relationship is that his victim this time is willing. to randal, satoru is just another guy he can talk his ear off to and drag around in his dream world.

and of course, since satoru is apart of randal, his idea of partnership is just as warped as his. he sees nothing wrong with this relationship.

but satoru is more than just randal. hes good at games, and is mentioned to be bored all the time and having too much free time on his hands. he mentions this once as he offers to walk yamada home. satoru is one to be passive aggressive to strangers, and friendly to those he knows.

Etheral Q is such an attractive character, he’s not shown much and overall has a “weird demeanor” to him but who isn’t in Ranfren? Plus, Etheral is just absolutely adorable and so damn cute to me. I would do anything for him honestly,, just wanna hold him and give him a little kiss on the cheek
