Thanksgiving was yesterday and yet thanks and giving should be an everyday thing. I struggled to give thanks. I sat in my doubt but there’s no peace there. we have #eucharisteo board on the wall and it helps. But yesterday I was mad. maybe still am. mad that I was sick with RSV on thanksgiving. mad that i couldn’t make pies or mashed potatoes. mad i couldn’t spend time with my family. really really mad. it’s all #firstworldproblems but my reality yesterday sitting there in the sun at my table drinking pineapple juice to make the congestion go away (yes it works). mad that many who aren’t sick but just afraid are spending the holiday alone. mad that many littles are dying cause of RSV. mad that there is so much backwards information about health and wellness. “just rotate giving tylenol (which depletes glutathione and stops your immune system) and given motrin (which ruins your gut microbiome and messes other organs up) don’t do that! WHY IN THE WORLD do you want to give your body crap that doesn’t HELP your body HEAL. It just prolongs the illness. (lots i can share on what i’ve been doing to help my body heal later) …mad I get made fun of for avoiding food dyes or folic acid. mad that I was told (from a friend) that maybe the aluminum in my sons body was from a freaking can of tuna (which i will never eat again cause of that). mad that Isaac is sick. mad that he struggles to eat. mad that scott is probably getting sick. mad that my garage is a mess. mad scott lost his job. mad that most of what we’ve been taught to be true is a lie. mad at the backwards twisted theology taught from potters field ministries and the hurt they caused. mad at many who were manipulated into taking a product that isn’t going to help them. mad at the shut down. mad…. does being mad at the things of the fallen world stop? or the things in my home? Advent is coming and I can’t catch my breath.
