Up to chapter 3 (or 4? I lose track) of the King of Attolia.

And the attoilian guards seem so... Stupid? Or so set on hating Eugenides that they can't see clearly?

Like, they make fun of Gen because he never goes to sleep with the queen? Because none of the servants ever see him visit her room?

And none of them can put two and two together and realize that for years. Literal years, he snuck around the palace undetected as a rival Queen's thief? That the literal only way they caught him was literal divine intervention? Not only that but he's always sneaking up on the guards during his time as king???

Like maybe he just knows how to sneak around so he can be with his lady without the whole palace whispering about it???
