It is I again!! Back for more of your amazing work 🙇🏽♀️✨️
/)///(\ I cant get enough of it im sorry!!
May I please request a story where Kid finds out Reader has a crush on him and finds it not only to be hilarious that she has one on him because she found him soooo annoying in the beginning but finds it cute too and fun to poke at because she cant help but get flustered. Her flusteredness is shown by acts of aggression like punching him but hes a mountain so it literally does nothing.
He doesnt outright tell her he knows about her crush on him but he definately messes with her a lot more like going shirtless in front of her or throwing her in the air and catching her to surprise her and at the end of the night he gets her in his room and has her come clean by tickling her to tears and she finally admits it and they smooch at last. Then you hear hootin and hollering from outside his cabin cause the crew got nosy
Don't tell Thatch shhhh....
Thank you very much 💛✨️✨️
Ofc, this was so sweet and funny to write, by the way don't worry I'm not going to tell Thatch…
THATCH! YOU'VE BEEN CHEATED ON!

# The Annoying Crush
Kid leaned back in his chair, boots propped up on the table, watching you with a predatory smirk. It was just too damn good. The way you tried to act normal, like you weren't stealing glances at him every five seconds, was the most entertaining thing to happen on this ship in weeks. He remembered your first month aboard, when you'd complained to anyone who would listen about the "loud, obnoxious, metal-armed menace" who captained the Victoria Punk. Now, you were doodling his name in your logbook and getting flustered every time he looked your way.
Heat had been the one to confirm his suspicions, finding your private log and nearly pissing himself laughing as he read passages about Kid's "surprisingly attractive smile" and "ridiculously broad shoulders." Heat had sold you out immediately, and Kid had been planning his revenge ever since.
"Oi, [Your Name]!" Kid called out, making you jump. "You gonna stare at that compass all day or are you actually gonna navigate?"
"I'm navigating!" you snapped back, but your cheeks were already turning that delightful shade of pink he'd come to enjoy. "Some of us are actually working, not just lazing around like a certain captain I could name."
Kid swung his legs down and stood up, stretching his arms over his head with a deliberate groan. "Sounds like someone needs a break. Or maybe just some entertainment."
He sauntered over to your navigation station, leaning in close enough that you could feel the heat radiating off his body. "Need help with anything there?"
"I'm perfectly capable of doing my job without your 'help'," you insisted, but your voice wavered slightly as his arm brushed against yours.
"Really? 'Cause it looks like you're struggling with those coordinates." He leaned even closer, his voice dropping to a low rumble. "Let me give you a hand."
"I said I'm fine!" you insisted, but when he reached past you to point at the chart, you couldn't stop the little gasp as his chest pressed firmly against your back.
Kid's grin widened. "Something wrong?"
"No! Just—just don't sneak up on me like that!"
"Where's the fun in that?" he replied with a wink, enjoying the way you squirmed.
You punched his arm—or tried to. It was like hitting a brick wall covered in muscle. Kid didn't even flinch, just watched with amusement as you shook out your hand.
"Feisty today, aren't we?" he teased. "Not that I mind. I like a little fire."
"You're impossible," you muttered, turning away to hide your face.
"Only for you, sweetheart," he replied, giving your shoulder a light squeeze before sauntering away.
Dinner time was when Kid decided to really have his fun. He made sure to sit directly across from you, and just as predicted, you were trying your hardest not to stare at him. The real show began when he "accidentally" knocked his fork off the table for the first time.
"Damn it," he muttered, making a show of sighing before bending over to retrieve it. From under the table, he had a perfect view of your ass in those tight shorts you always wore. He stayed down a moment longer than necessary, watching as you shifted uncomfortably in your seat.
When he sat back up, you were pointedly looking anywhere but at him, your cheeks flushed.
"Something wrong with your chair?" Kid asked innocently. "You keep squirming."
"It's nothing," you snapped, stabbing at your food with your fork.
Five minutes later, Kid's knife "slipped" off the table. "Clumsy me," he said with a grin, bending down again. This time, he let his hand "accidentally" brush up your calf as he reached for the knife. You jumped like you'd been electrocuted, shooting him a glare that was more embarrassed than angry.
The third time it happened, you kicked him under the table. He barely noticed, but he did notice your foot lingered a moment too long against his leg.
"Careful," he warned with a smirk. "Keep that up and I might think you're enjoying this."
"In your dreams," you retorted, but the way you were avoiding his eyes told a different story.
Kid decided to escalate things. When he dropped his spoon next, he bent down as before, but this time, he reached out and gave your ass a firm squeeze before grabbing the spoon.
You shot up so fast your chair nearly toppled over. "Kid! What the hell do you think you're doing?!"
"Just getting my spoon," he replied innocently as he sat back up, acting completely unfazed. "Why? Did something else happen down there?"
Your face was now the color of a ripe tomato. "You—you—!"
"I what?" he asked, taking a slow sip of his drink. "If you're gonna accuse me of something, at least finish the sentence."
"You know damn well what you did!" you hissed, but you were trapped. If you admitted he'd grabbed your ass, you'd have to explain why he was under the table in the first place, and why you hadn't moved away.
Kid just smirked, knowing he had you cornered. "No idea what you're talking about. Maybe you're just jumpy tonight."
After dinner, as the crew settled down for drinks, Kid decided to push things even further. He walked over to where you were sitting and, without warning, scooped you up into his arms.
"Kid! What the hell are you doing?" you shrieked, flailing.
"Just testing something," he said casually, before tossing you lightly in the air and catching you effortlessly. Your arms instinctively wrapped around his neck for stability.
"Put me down, you giant metal idiot!" you demanded, though your voice lacked its usual bite.
"Make me," he challenged, grinning as he held you close. "Or admit you're enjoying this."
"I—I'm not!" you stammered, but the way you clung to him told a different story.
"Really? 'Cause your heart's beating pretty fast right now."
"That's because I'm about to have a heart attack from the shock of being manhandled!"
Kid laughed, setting you down but keeping his hands on your waist. "Sure it is."
He spent the rest of the evening finding excuses to touch you—brushing past you "accidentally," putting his arm around you when you both leaned against the railing, even "helping" you climb into the crow's nest by giving you a boost that lasted way longer than necessary.
Each time, you responded with that adorable aggression he'd come to enjoy—light punches, shoves, and glares that did absolutely nothing to him but made you flustered beyond belief.
Finally, as night fell and most of the crew retired to their cabins, Kid made his move.
"[Your Name]," he said, leaning against the doorframe of your cabin. "Got a minute?"
You looked up from where you were organizing your maps. "For what? So you can throw me into the ocean this time?"
"Nah, just wanted to show you something in my workshop."
You hesitated, clearly suspicious. "What kind of something?"
"A new modification I'm working on. Might need your opinion."
Reluctantly, you followed him to his workshop, which was connected to his personal cabin. The moment you stepped inside, he closed the door behind you.
"Kid, what—"
But before you could finish, he had you scooped up in his arms again, this time marching purposefully toward his bed.
"Kid! Put me down! This is not the workshop!" you protested, wriggling in his grasp.
"Change of plans," he grunted, before unceremoniously dropping you onto his bed. You bounced once, eyes wide with surprise and indignation.
"You absolute bastard! What the hell is wrong with you?" you started to push yourself up, but he was already looming over you, a knee pressing into the mattress beside you, caging you in with his arms.
"You've been acting weird lately," he said, his voice a low, teasing rumble that vibrated right through you.
"I have not! You're the one who's been—"
"Flustering you on purpose? Grabbing your ass under the table?" he finished for you with a predatory grin. "Guilty as charged."
"Why would you—"
"Because it's fun," he said simply. "And because I know something you don't think I know."
Your eyes widened in panic. "What are you talking about?"
"I'm talking about this," he said, before suddenly diving his fingers into your sides.
You shrieked with laughter, immediately trying to curl away from his assault, but you were trapped on the bed. "Kid! Stop! Ahahaha! What are you—"
"Not until you admit it," he said, his fingers dancing relentlessly over your ribs and stomach. You were squirming wildly, trying to push his hands away, but his metal arm was an immovable barrier.
"Admit what?! I don't—hahahaha!—know what you're talking about!" you gasped, tears already starting to stream from the corners of your eyes.
"Oh, I think you do," he replied, shifting his attack to your underarms, making you squeal. "Something about a certain captain being... hmm, how did you put it in your little diary? 'Annoyingly hot'?"
Your laughter caught in your throat as your face turned beet red. "Heat told you, didn't he?" you managed to get out between gasps and giggles.
"He sure did," Kid confirmed, finally easing up but not moving from his position over you. "So, are you going to admit it, or do I need to continue my interrogation methods?"
You glared up at him, your chest heaving from the tickle assault, but there was no real anger in your eyes—just embarrassment and something else... something like longing.
"Fine!" you finally snapped, throwing your hands up in surrender. "Yes, okay? I have a crush on you! Are you happy now, you colossal ass?"
"Ecstatic," Kid replied, his grin softening into something warmer as he leaned in closer, his weight shifting to press more comfortably against you. "You know, for someone who found me 'soooo annoying' in the beginning, you sure have interesting taste."
"Shut up," you muttered, but there was no bite to it. In fact, you found your hands moving up to rest on his shoulders.
Instead of waiting for him to make the next move, you surprised both of you by closing the remaining distance between you and crushing your lips to his.
Kid responded immediately, deepening the kiss as his hands moved from caging you in to pulling you closer. The metal of his arm was cool against your back as his other hand tangled in your hair, holding you in place. The kiss was hungry, demanding, and everything you hadn't let yourself admit you wanted.
When you finally broke apart, both breathing heavily, Kid was still grinning.
"Took you long enough," he teased, his voice husky.
"Oh, shut up," you replied, but this time you were smiling too.
Before you could say anything else, a loud cheer erupted from outside the cabin.
"ABOUT DAMN TIME!" someone yelled, followed by whooping and hollering.
"FINALLY! HE'S GETTING SOME!" another voice shouted, which sounded suspiciously like Killer.
Kid rolled his eyes, but he was still smiling as he looked down at you. "Nosy bastards, the whole lot of them."
You buried your face in his chest, embarrassed but also relieved. "They were listening?"
"Probably had their ears pressed to the door," Kid confirmed, chuckling as he stroked your hair. "But hey, at least we don't have to pretend anymore."
You looked up at him, your earlier embarrassment fading away. "I guess not."
"Good," he said, leaning down for another kiss. "Because I've been wanting to do this for a while too."
As you kissed again, ignoring the continued celebration outside, you couldn't help but think that maybe Kid wasn't so annoying after all. In fact, you were starting to think he was exactly what you needed.
