Surprised no one's mentioned them yet , so here are some women who made a huge impact on goth subculture and its music genres.

Siouxsie Sioux, who founded the Banshees (post-punk, goth rock, new wave) and was also in The Creatures (new wave, alt rock). Honestly, her voice is one of the best I've ever heard.

Dinah Cancer is the lead vocalist of 45 Grave (death rock, horror punk). She's very charismatic

Eva O, musician, vocalist, guitarist. Was in Christian Death, Shadow Project, Super Heroines (all death rock/gothic rock), plus solo work.

Scary Bitches (death rock/gothic punk) — formed by Alma Geddon and Deadri Ranciid.

My current Rozz (+ christian death and other relateds) physical collection :D

My favourites have got to be the Death Box, Hell Comes To Your House firstpressing, The Decomposition of Violets, plus Rozz Williams In His Own Words :3 but I love them all so so so much!!! Except for the remix cd on the Death Box plus the 7" remix vinyl those are actually horrid

Most of these speak for themselves, though for the ones that don't: - the Orkus magazine has an interview with Valor about the release of American Inquisition - the Orkus CD has (amongst other total bangers) a Christian Death song on it

Also for anyone who hasnt yet, please please please check out both Gitanes and Evas solo stuff!! From Eva my favourite stuff shes done has definitely been the Super Heroines (outside of Shadow Project and such ofc), and from Gitane I adore Love For Sale :)
