ahmad waleed ( @ahmadwaleed5 ) $9,033/$25,000 vetted, #167 on the fundraiser sheet made by el-shab-hussein and nabulsi. ahmad is only 14 years old, he and his family have been displaced and he has not been able to go back to school. ahmad loved school, it was an escape for him, he has dreams of becoming a doctor one day. ahmad's father has lost his job and this fundraiser is now the only thing providing for their family. these funds will be used to help ahmad's family access necessities like food and water as the prices rise and, eventually help his family evacuate once rafah crossing reopens.
the basil family ( @ayman-ps1 and @osamabasilps ) €2,699/€15,000 vetted, #90 on the gazagfmboost list. before the genocide, osama was a web developer, he had his own office that has since been destroyed. he and his family have been displaced and have no source of income. these funds will help support osama and his family so they are able to get basic necessities, as well as eventually help osama rebuild his office and continue his work.
the ashour family ( @ashourmohammed ) £1,507/£25,000 vetted by @/90s-ghost. mohammed and his wife maram have two children named amir (3y/o) and hoor (less than 1y/o). hoor was born in december 2023, her family had already been displaced at the time of her birth, and she has yet to receive any of her vaccinations. they lost their home, maram and mohammed have both lost their jobs, and amir has been traumatized by the displacements and living through a genocide. the money raised from this fundraiser will be used so the ashours can evacuate from gaza and raise their children somewhere safe.
ghadah al-madhoun ( @ghadahalmadhoun ) $4,120AUD/$50,000 not vetted yet, however you can look at this post speaking on the legitimacy of the campaign. ghadah and her family have experienced unimaginable loss during this genocide. she lost her husband, their home, and her teaching job. ghadah and her daughter reem have been separated from her other children, and they have been displaced six times. this fundraiser is being organized by ghadah's cousin hind, and the money raised will be used for ghadah and her children to evacuate once rafah crossing reopens.
motaz and huda ( @motaz-gaza and @huda-gaza ) $541/$10,000 vetted by association. huda and motaz got married just three months before the genocide began, their home has been destroyed and they have been displaced four times. on top of this, huda is pregnant and suffering from malnutrition. the continued displacement and lack of access to all the necessary prenatal care is not safe or healthy for a pregnant woman. these funds will be used to help motaz and huda evacuate gaza once rafah crossing reopens, so their child may be born somewhere safe away from genocide.
baraa al-sharafah ( @baraaalshrafa ) €217/€50,000 vetted, #911 on the butterflyeffect project fundraiser sheet. baraa is only 15 years old, he comes from a family of six people. both his father and his youngest sibling (only 8 years old) have suffered head injuries due to bombings. their family has been displaced multiple times, and they have resorted to eating animal feed to survive the food scarcity. baraa's younger brothers are suffering from skin diseases and they do not have access to treatments for them. these funds will be used to help evacuate baraa and his family from gaza.
montaha and hamada ( @montahahamada and @hamadamontaha9988 ) €363/€60,000 not vetted yet, but my reverse image search came back clean and the gfm is donation protected. montaha and hamada got married in july of 2023, and shortly after the genocide began they were forced to separate due to hamada being injured in his hand and having to leave gaza for treatment. montaha is still in gaza, along with 10 of her family members. montaha's family home was destroyed, as well as her and hamada's home. montaha and her family have been displaced multiple times, and her brothers and father have lost their jobs. these funds will be used to evacuate all family members and allow montaha to reunite with hamada.
fidaa's family ( @fidaa-family2 ) $25,927/$30,000 vetted by association. fidaa has two children named sila (2y/o) and mohammad (less than 6 months old). fidaa and her family have been displaced more than 7 times, and her daughter sila has become sick due to contaminated water. fidaa's home was destroyed, and she struggles to find access to diapers, milk, and other necessities for her children. these funds will be used to evacuate fidaa and her family out of gaza once the time allows.
hana ibrahim hammad ( @hamad-1981 ) €320/€45,000 not vetted yet, but reverse image search came back clean and the gfm is donation protected. ibrahim is only 19 years old and he comes from a family of eight people. their home was destroyed and they have been displaced, and ibrahim's father lost his job. multiple family members have contracted hepatitis a and have no access to treatment. these funds will be used to support the family and help them access basic necessities, as well as eventually help them rebuild their lives and home.
karim's family ( @kareem-sd ) €2,500/€50,000 not vetted yet, but reverse image search came back clean and the gfm is donation protected. karim is only 22 years old, he has two young brothers named aboud (10y/o) and hala (12y/o). their parents are both sick, their father with diabetes and their mother has a herniated disk. they have lost their home and the adults have lost their jobs, meanwhile the children are suffering from malnourishment. the fundraiser is being organized by a family member outside of gaza, the money will be used to help the family access necessities, and eventually for them to be able to evacuate.
ola ferwana ( @olaferwana and @abedallhferwanagaza ) €4,886/€35,000 vetted by femmeintifada on telegram. ola is a mother of three children named yaman (7/o), qusai (5y/o), and mira (~1y/o. was 10 months when the fundraiser was created). just days before the genocide began, ola's husband went to egypt to get medicine, he hasn't been able to return and has not even met their daughter. ola is surviving this genocide with her children on her own, they have been displaced more than 8 times. ola and her children are all sick and/or malnourished and it's hard for her to provide for them. these funds will help her family access basic necessities, and eventually be used to help them evacuate and reunite with her husband.
