During this genocide, they’ve been displaced multiple times, their home was destroyed, and have come close to death several times. Ahed @ahdanqar is the father of three young daughters under 10 years old, Fatima (9 years old), Iman (6 years old), and Nour (1 year old). Nour has never lived a life in peace. All of them have suffered through hunger and fear during important years of their childhood. Fatima, Iman and Nour deserve a safe childhood and enough food, they deserve to eat nutritious and delicious food, they deserve clean water and to get an education. This is the basic rights of all children, but it’s denied by the occupation. Ahed is living through every parents worst nightmare, seeing their children in pain and starving, and not being able to do anything to stop it.
But you can help relieve this pain. If you donate, the money will be used to feed his daughters and save up for evacuation in the future.

Yesterday, Ahed @ahdanqar told me that he, his wife, and his brother went back to his old house to check on it because he believed there would be a pause in aggression from the IOF for some hours due to the release of another hostage. When he got there, his house was destroyed, but they started searching through the ruins to find some of their old possessions that might be left in the rubble. He said that then IOF soldiers started firing at them, and they barely escaped.
This is the reality of his life in Gaza. He has been displaced many times in different places on the Gaza strip, and once he was able to return there was barely anything left. Ahed is a father of three young girls aged 9, 6 and 1, who could have lost both of their parents.
Ahed has a fundraiser to support his family and make sure he can feed his children. It’s every father’s worst nightmare to see his children live in such dangerous circumstances and go hungry every day. This fundraiser is moving very slowly and has only received four donations in the past week, the last one was three days ago.

Yesterday, Nader @abdalsalam2000 witnessed three people martyred and multiple injured from an explosion in his displacement site in Gaza. You can read his description of what happened in more detail in his post here. It’s not the first time, and it unfortunately most likely won’t be the last time he has to see something like this. This is the reality of his life in Gaza under the occupation. No one should have to experience this, and especially not a seventeen year old. Nader has lost many relatives and his home in the past one and a half years, and has been displaced more than ten times. All of this at only seventeen years old.
He is raising money to support his family of eight, which includes one year old Iman and his father Ahmed who has cancer. It’s very urgent to get Ahmed the healthcare he needs and evacuate as soon as the border opens, especially because he hasn’t had access to treatment for a long time because of the destruction of the healthcare system. Food is also extremely expensive in Gaza now.
