I know Hiro mentions them at one point in thh, and I think they showed up/are mentioned in one of the endings of the visual novel Kirigiri Sou but that ending in non canon iirc

Meet my OC versions of Evan and Venti--Evan and Aiyu. Evan is half-alien and Venti is a full blown alien. Also these aliens are actually Skyrian (Aiyu)/Skyman(Evan), something I talked about more here.

I'm still torn on the design for Skyrians because my GOD am I attached to the more rodent looking body type. They're just cuter to me that way.

I imagine that if Evan was born in the DR world his parents probably try to hide his alien heritage by reshaping his ears to look more human because other than being long lived (pretty much eternal) and magic, he's pretty human passing. He can't shape shift, so his ears would be changed surgically.

Aiyu can just shapeshift so they'll choose a normal looking human form to pass

Evan is Very Welsh and Aiyu's human form is Very Chinese, fun fact.

OH HEY I RANDOMLY FINISHED THIS. NICE.

I've been meaning to finish this for a hot second, but only recently did I get back around to it. I tried the 1/2/3 shadow method with this piece... can you tell? :'D

I decided to forgo the happier version because I was just in the mood to make angst apparently.

I played around with layer modes and even..... CURVES...... I've never used curves before so that was fun.

I imagine that what killed Evan (my name for Nameless Bard) was that he got distracted by the sky above him right after Decarabian's whirlwind walls were broken, and he looked up instead of in front of him. That gave a loyalist the means to shoot him down.

A brief moment of Freedom, only for it to be snatched away...

I fixed up some of the line work and added that weird red scarf thingy. I thought it was a nice little detail, like--maybe it was a gift from one of his friends/found fam before the final battle? :’D

I did try to color pick the colors from that final battle where we see him actually dead, but the cloak was looking really weird as a greenish grey. The brown is too iconic! The scarf looks nice tho.

Line art of an “on a whim” experiment using my fancy art doll 3D models. I thiiiink they’ve sped up my art time???? But fucking hell is line art still miserable.

No, I did not use the black magic method of line art... I sort of prefer oldschool methods I think. More texture options :’D

I imagine that this picture takes place right when Decarabian’s barrier falls, and Evan (Nameless Bard) is heavily distracted by seeing the sky for the first time. He is them promptly shot in the chest with two arrows and killed ten seconds later by Loyalists.

A drabble I wrote for @trans-shuichisaihara because we ship Yuuto and Evan (The Wanderer and Nameless Bard respectively) a whole lot and I know it's not gonna get a whole lot of attention but I might as well post this here anyway xD

HAHA! I fooled you all into thinking I wouldn't participate in the ship week thingy! I even fooled myself! I'm impressive.

There's a ship week for BardVen being hosted on twitter, and as far as I'm aware, not on Tumblr? Still, wanted to show it off here :'D

TBH I was contemplating on participating, and then a thought occurred to me: You know that one achievement in Genshin when you sit on the Statue of Venti in Mondstat, you get an achievement "Beloved of the Anemo Archon"? Well I remembered it was fanon that Venti likes to curl up in that statue's hands because it reminded him of Bard. The connection of "beloved" plus my partner's input gave me the idea for this! I wanted to draw something different than the statue itself however, so I thought a more metaphorical interpretation would look really pretty. Plus, it gives a sense as to what Venti might feel upon being in the statue's hands.

Fun fact, I used my wip 3D model of NB for this! Really sped up the process tbh.
