The 5th Wave
Could not put it down. Much better than the movie. Its funny and intriguing and engaging. I like the switching povs and the order in which the story was told.

The 5th Wave series by Rick Yancey is another really great 2010s YA dystopia/sci-fi series why is its fandom dead? All 3 books are phenomenal, not much about it ever felt gimmicky either like other series at the time did. Why tf did they not make the rest of the movies after the first one?
i just watched the 5th wave, it was such a good movie!!! but why tf was evan not in the ending?? like where was his and cassie's happy ending? ): there should've been a sequel but it's obvi not coming out.
After writing about two different dystopian green flag man.. I think we have to choose..
(I fill the other ones with other dystopian characters who also have an charismatic aura, or just an "aura" -& one of the main characters of their universe- & also very liked by 'us' NOT that I find every one of them green flag characters, I just realize there are not much dystopian words or I don't know if there are.. I'm open to suggestions)
-this is not a who is better and who is not type of competition.. I'm just doing it for fun and to see your opinions on different characters in dystopian words-
Also, I added "Newt from the Maze Runner" into this as well.. As far as I can remember he also has a very outstanding characteristics/personality traits..
I'm not adding tv series like the 100 etc, only books and their movie adaptations.. maybe we might do one with fantasy genre.. and romantic.. oh yes.. the list can go on and on baby!
but for this one,
I feel like I don't feel that much hype on some of them in the list.. maybe it's because I read&watch the series a long time ago and I forgot, or we really didn't dive deeply into their perspectives&traits like emotional intelligence or plots where we saw their point of views&actions etc, or it's just; I had momentarily forgotten that person and I cannot recall anything as I write this post..
anyway, shall we.. start?

why is nobody talking abt the 5th wave (the books) i’ve literally loved them since i was 12 🙄🙄🙄
Look I finally finished the 5th wave series and I just needed this one thing (spoiler for the entire ending)
After Cassie explodes the mothership, Ben finds and helps Marika and Marika insists on helping Evan. While downloading Evan’s memories back into him, he relives the short time he was a soulless killer and watched, mainly in horror, but that turns to pride as he sees how Cassie escaped being trapped in the chair, he thinks back to the car on the highway and when he watches her completely outsmart him and easily, he has nothing but pride and love for her. But the next thing that wonderland shows him isn’t something he was conscious for. Cassie carefully bring the wire out of the water and when it seems safe she kneels in front of Evan and holds his face in her hands. “I see it all, I see everyone. I see you. I hear the music. Its beautiful Evan. It’s my turn to save you. The shark who dreamt he was a man. A man who used to be a shark.” And she gives him one last parting kiss.
