Maressey - Last Night I Dreamt That Somepony Loved Me

This is the second track of the upcoming Flutterdash album. Alone in the dark, Scootaloo is again revisited by all the problems of her life. Orphaned, crippled, and utterly lost; Will she ever realize her dreams that are denied her and find the love she needs? This is the fourteenth track from the Maressey project, a ponified cover of The Smiths classic.

This is a ponified cover of The Smiths original classic. "Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me" is a song by The Smiths. It was released as a single in December 1987, reaching No. 30 in the UK Singles Chart.  It was the group's final single (barring re-issues) and was the last of three singles from the band's album Strangeways, Here We Come. He'll be at Seaponies Paradise armed with new songs and old business cards so don't be fooled by listening to just one of his many songs, the Genres that Evdog has contributed to is almost endless. Blues, Electronic, Jazz - he's done it all. 

Recently he and a bunch of collaborators made it onto the new Balloon Party album, Academy of Power.  Look forward to some post punk and a drop to be reckoned with embedded above.

When this was first shared with me, I must have listened to it about ten times in a row. Wonderfully produced, heartbreakingly real, with one of the most potent spoken word breaks I've ever heard in a song. I love this song, and I still can't listen to this without crying.

This is the first track of a several song Flutterdash ship arc. Taking place during the Hurricane Fluttershy episode, this is from Dash's pov (Evdog) as she expresses not just her need for her help but also for something much more. Every relationship starts with a spark but it only truly begins with a question and a reply of "yes". This is the fifth track from the Maressey project, a ponified cover of The Smiths classic "Ask".

Vocals for this track are by the amazing Evdog. I've collaborated with him on more tracks than anyone and he put forth a great vocal for this project. Thanks so much for him helping me out yet again.
