We’ve gotten some asks about using AI to make stuff for the event and if it will be accepted and we want to clear it up now: No, AI is not accepted in any form for Fanart Frenzy.
Fanart Frenzy is an event created to combat scammers that were targeting fanfic writers, many of whom use AI as part of their tactic. Being anti-AI is baked into this event at its core. AI is theft and we find the use of it to be disrespectful to the many wonderful artists and writers that have signed up to participate in this event and support each other through their creations.
We firmly believe that anything you, a human, can create is better than whatever an AI can put out. Your work is valuable because you created it, perceived flaws and all. You don't have to be good at something to create for this event- it's only going to be meaningful if you create.
We promise that your fellow writers, any writers, will be thrilled to receive any product made by your hand. Even if you think it’s bad or messy or imperfect. It’s real, and it’s human.
All that said, we would like to again reinforce: no, AI is not allowed in this event.
This event is themed around death and loss (and associated topics). Fluffy fics before inevitable doom? Sure. Collecting your deceased nemesis' effects from the morgue? Yeah. Averted death when you'd finally made peace with it? Nice. The goriest, most disgusting, absolutely filthy, borderline(?) erotica death scene you've ever seen? Classic.

No Generative AI
Although additional rules may be added as time goes and situations arise, these are the big three. There are no age, genre, shipping, or rating restrictions. You are only asked that you are upfront and clear about the content. If you are concerned about a particular aspect? Warn for it. If you want to use the prompts with an AI? Don't submit it here.
For event reblogging purposes:
@ this blog on your post sharing your work (or a link to the work) with relevant information such as fandom, rating, content warnings, etc.
Sensitive or otherwise NSFW content should be placed under a cut, with the necessary content warnings above the cut.
Please tag with #deathcember or #deathcember 2025, and the appropriate prompt such as #deathcemberday21 or #deathcemberalt4
Also, due to The Situation: fan-content for JK Rowling's works will not be reblogged here for the foreseeable future.
Epitaph Submittal
Prompts are being accepted! If there's a prompt you'd like to see this Deathcember, send an ask and it will be added to the pool. Prompts do not have to obviously or directly relate to death or loss.
Currently, the plan is to have 31 daily prompts (with a "main" prompt and two "support" prompts) and a handful of alternative prompts. Songs are also enjoyable, and will be shared alongside the written prompts as a playlist. An example of a daily prompt would be
Six Feet Under | empty casket + missing poster
Rest in Peace, Mod
This event is a work in progress! If you have an idea to make it better, feel free to send an ask. Please be kind, as there's only one mod @chaotetothecore, and its work is especially busy during this time of year.
Also—the pfp is copyrighted work of Dzmitry Sukhavarau on Dreamstime. Admin is working to replace it for the longer term.
let's make this our unbirthday! prompts and rules for ridoace week 2026, now with updated dates!
this year we will be running from august 30 to september 6, instead of september 23 to 30 like normal! please keep the prompts in mind, and we hope to see you then!
This is a fanworks challenge/event that is all about Corroded Coffin. It will take place from July 1st thru July 31st.
This is our third year of having an full month-long event during the month of July. This year's theme is "I Love The 80s" and all prompts come from popular/common things you'd find in the decade our show took place. Feel free to take the prompt and interpret it in any way you feel inspired!
The calendar of prompts is located here:
GUIDELINES:
Ideas for works include: fic, art, gifsets, fanvids, moodboards, edits, playlists, or anything else you can think of to celebrate Corroded Coffin!
For all written word entries, there is a strict word count minimum/maximum of between 300-1000 words. I'll use wordcounter.net to check the word counts before reblogging, so please use that site yourself to double-check your entry before posting to make sure you've stuck to that exact range! (If you haven't, I'll have to message you to ask you to fix it before it'll be added to the event. So, doing it ahead of time is best for both of us! Thanks!)
You'll get a comment from this blog with a "🦇" when it's passed the wordcounter check and has been added to the queue.
Do one prompt, do them all. Hell, do them all twice! It's totally up to you. You can pick and choose what you're interested in. I'm not going to police how you interpret the prompt. Just use them as a jumping off point to be inspired by the boys of Corroded Coffin, and then share that inspiration with us! (Not everything has to be band related, we encourage you to explore other parts of their lives, too!)
Submissions can absolutely be connected to other prompts from the event, or even past works, but should still be able to stand alone each day.
Every morning a new prompt card will go up, reminding everyone of what that day's prompt will be.
All submissions should include any pairings featured, content rating and any content warnings (CW) and/or tags that you think are appropriate. Please put the prompt you are fulfilling as well, just to keep things straightforward. A sample could look something like this:
Prompt Day 4: Headbangers Ball | Word Count: 765 | Rating: T | CW: None | POV: Eddie | Pairing(s): None | Tags: Someday they'll get a video on MTV if it kills them.
Also, please put any explicit material under a read more cut, because anything rated E that's not hidden under a cut will not be reblogged.
For the artists! Your art submission must be posted on the same day as the current prompt in order to be reblogged by this blog. Your piece of art (or other creation) must be Corroded Coffin focused, using any combination of the guys, together or solo. Of course, other characters can be included, too! But you need to have at least one of the CC band members in it for it to count for this event. Thank you!
All ships are welcome, as long as they include at least one member of Corroded Coffin: Eddie, Jeff, Gareth & Freak. (Who I look forward to learning the name of from you all, time and time again!)
Please tag us here at @corrodedcoffinfest when you post your entries so we can reblog them! Didn't get reblogged, and I didn't contact you? Double-check that your @ tag is connected to this blog in your posted work! If it's not, I don't get notified that they've been posted. If it looks good on your end, just send this blog a DM and we'll figure it out!
Be respectful of your fellow participants and readers. We're all here to have fun and share the love of all parts of Corroded Coffin.
Definitely feel free to ask me any questions you may have. You can send a message/ask to this blog or reach out to @thisapplepielife.
Please submit your post by 11:59 PM EDT on the day of the prompt in order to not be missed for reblogging.
If posting on AO3, please feel free to use the collection associated with this event: Corroded Coffin Fest AO3 Collection after your submission has been reblogged by this account.
Most importantly, have fun!

SPREADSHEET:
If you'd like a spreadsheet again this year to help you keep track of the prompts and your progress, here's the one for this event. It seemed to go over well last year, so I made another one for this year. If you'd like to use it yourself, just go to File>Make a Copy and you'll get a version you can edit in your own Google Sheets.
Thanks for everyone that's participated in any way during these Corroded Coffin events over the last year! ❤️🦇🖤
All kinds of fan works are welcome and encouraged (fics, art, podfics, edits, fanbinding, recs lists, etc.) as long as Clark Kent/Bruce Wayne is the focus. We do also accept alternate Superbat (e.g., Kirk Langstrom, Hernan Guerra, Kurāku Kento, Komori, and other assorted Elseworld identities of the pairing.)
Works about polyamorous relationships, queerplatonic relationships, and all kind of relationships are welcome, as long as the focus remains on Superbat.
Works done with or with the aid of generative AI of any type won’t be accepted nor shared in this event.
Prompts are a guideline, you can use as many as you want, but you’re not required to post for every day of the week. We want you to have fun and not stress about creating.
It's also possible to participate by posting the first chapter of a multi-chaptered work; you won't be required to finish the work strictly during the days of the event.
NSFW and dark works are welcome, just use the appropriate ratings when necessary.
You’re free to write about anything you like, but remember to tag your work scrupulously, and use warnings when necessary.
Use the tag #superbatweek2025 and tag us @superbateveryweek to help us track and share your work.
Be kind to your fellow fans, we do not abide any form of harassment.
This is an event to create something new while we wait for the launch of Stranger Things Season 5.
Hate speech and ship/character bashing are not permitted in this event
What are the prompts?
The prompts are the titles of each episode of each season. Just choose one (or more) and have fun with it! (Find them HERE)
What if someone is using the same prompt I wanted to do?
There is no limit to the amount of fics/arts or other contents that can use the same prompt as inspiration. More cake!
Is there a minimum word count required?
This is a low pressure event, so the minimum word count is 500 words or a sketch but you can go crazy as you like.
When is the posting date?
The formal posting date is November 26th, but since the brothers will keep us waiting the AO3 collection will be open until December 31st.
The mods will do their best to reblog every fic until January 2nd.
(Just a heads-up: the mods are CET-based, so reblogs might come through a little later.)
FAQ
Is there an age limit?
No. This is an event open to everyone, but underage participants can only create & engage in content rated Gen-Teen.
Are there content restrictions?
No. This event is open to all ships and all fan works but please tag your content appropriately and refrain from using Real Life People as characters in your work.
All trigger warnings must be indicated both at the beginning of your post and in the tags.
Any NSFW works posted on Tumblr should be posted hidden under the "read more".
Does that mean dead dove and omegaverse content are allowed?
Yes! We just ask that everything be tagged accurately, and any appropriate warnings be included.
For those unfamiliar, Dead Dove: Do Not Eat is a tag that means “exactly what is written on the bag.” While this does generally include darker, mature and often taboo themes, the meaning is that what is listed in the tags will be in the work. Dead Dove writers are encouraged to participate, as we will not be turning away works for any specific themes. That being said, it is the author’s responsibility to tag works appropriately, and reader’s responsibility to read the tags and be mindful of their own boundaries and triggers.
(beautiful definition offered by @stranger-tales ! Check out their event!)
Can I write ST character/OC or ST character/Reader?
Absolutely! We only kindly ask to have at least one ST character in the main relationship (which can be romantic or platonic).
Please tag your content appropriately.
Can I combine this event with another one?
You’re absolutely free to do it, but please make sure that’s not against the rules of the other event(s) you’re working for.
Where can I post my entries?
You can post wherever you would like!
If you post to Archive of Our Own, add it to the collection (HERE).
If you post it to Tumblr, please tag your post with #LastStopHawkins and @ our account @last-stop-hawkins so we can easily find it and repost it.
Please remember to tag the episode you're using as a prompt (for example if it's the first season first episode tag #s1ep1) and every trigger warning!
Hey! Soulmate September is a month all about Soulmates!
Familial Soulmates, Platonic Soulmates, Romantic Soulmates, Enemy Soulmates — if you can Twist a Relationship of any kind into a Soulmate for the Good or Bad of your characters, it counts!
Soulmates of any and all kinds are welcome!
If you have any questions, feel free to send in an ask! Anonymous Asks are on for anyone who doesn't want to be known, and messages are open for anyone who doesn't want to make an ask.
In the event of receiving a question through a message, a mod will answer via messaging back and then making a general post that won't be connected or tied to anyone asking about the topic!
We are a Prompt-a-Day Event with a Side Element of a few Prompts set for the Week for you to use as well!
All Works have to be relating to Soulmates in some way. We want everyone to be creative with their prompts, even if 'Soulmate' is a background element!
This event will allow the works of NSFW prompts, though they will be their own post separate from our SFW prompts.
Soulmates September Timeline
Prompt Suggestions will be open from March 01st to April 15th. Please feel free to reblog our post and help us reach more people who may be interested! You can find our post about Prompt Suggestions HERE.

If there are 100 or less prompts, the mods will choose the prompts, if there are more than 100, Voting will open for anyone interested in participating
Prompt Release will be posted April 25th.
