after screaming down sharkys because @mackmontgomery was chasing her around with his slendy-fingers, they both got kicked out. only to have the bright idea to swap costumes and try get back in. (you can thank @santiagodeleons, bar owner to bar owner for actually getting them back in, but not until after the costume swap.).

yes, maura is much too small for this costume and it drowns her.

yes, she stole macks home crafted gloves.

Tonight, Zahrya needn’t entertain any suggestion that his changelings are somehow an affront. It matters not what the party goers think or what “bad memories” the sight of a changeling might conjure. He is there simply to ensure no one left this party ignorant to the truth: this paltry affair was nothing compared to the masquerade hosted by himself and the other chancellors. From the second he wove his being into the changeling’s, he felt a sense of liberation he’s come to long for thanks his new fey security policy. With liberation comes inhibition. He’s roared in the faces of countless guests, “accidentally” knocked partygoers off their feet, and even disrupted a couple of the entertainment displays. Zahrya has never participated in Halloween before this night, but the way his cackles contort from the changeling’s mouth on his behalf prove he is indeed enjoying himself.

Halfbloodeds were his favourite. Faimen in particular, though they were hard to come across. Distantly they each reminded him of Remi and made him think about the night they’d spent getting passed between a vampire in the backroom of Rome’s blood bar. His fangs broke the other’s skin and the euphoric rush was instant, his nerves felt alive for the first time in weeks, that beautiful spark of life that was almost potent enough to make his heart start pumping again. Zeke’s frame quivered as he maneuvered his mouth for a better angle, he was still new at this and there wasn’t a single person he’d bitten whose neck hadn’t been left mangled when he was done. Zeke had fed more tonight than he had since he’d been turned, and when he pulled away it was to look at one of his pseudo-sires looking over him. “Oh- you want some?”

Barely dressed was Eros’ favorite type of dress, especially when he got to play with costumes. With soft feathery wings, some gold jewelry and a halo, his angel look was complete. His usual gold necklaces draped down around the black collar he wore, a sign that he wasn’t spoken for and available for use tonight. In an attempt to make himself feel better, he reasoned that the red collar wouldn’t have gone with his costume this year. Wandering gracefully through the party, less than angelic thoughts filled his head as he looked at the other revealing costumes humans had on and at the private rooms that were available. “Maybe I should have been a devil instead,” he mused to no one in particular. “It’s hard to keeping my hands myself...”

Reed stood in his costume, waiting for Jae to rejoin him with drinks. He fiddled with some of the lace on his skirt and felt a bit scandalous wearing such an outfit. But, it was a time to have fun, especially now that he was claimed. Reed enjoyed dressing more feminine and revealing. He liked the way his body looked in such things and dressed completely for his own benefit––well, and for Jae’s, his Big Bad Wolf for the night. Noticing a few strange wandering gazes, the human smiled shyly and tucked his long red cloak around him a bit. An especially looking festive drink that glowed caught his eye and he grinned. “What is that?” he asked with a chuckle.
