i've discovered petroleum jelly for myself and that shit cured my dry elbows overnight; shed my skin like a lizard around that area. needless to say i am covered in the stuff now like a slug, wrapped in bandages so i don't get it on my bed, and tomorrow i shall emerge from my crysalis a brand new person.

I just saw that YouTube is pulling its data from the Billboard charts. I guess this will give artists and labels less of an incentive to make music videos in the future.

That's really interesting - thanks for sharing, big moves. I think what happens next is quite unpredictable - and we'll have to watch how it plays out.

I don't think music videos themselves will become any less common. There are lots of reasons to make music videos. I assume people will still do lyric videos as well - as there is an audience on youtube and it does generate revenue whether or not it is counted. I think the first change will be the reduction is pseudo music videos - like the bts video Louis just did. It was very charming - but the reason it was done the way it was wasn't to service the content. If you put the song on a bts video it counts for streams. So maybe we'll see bts content not constrained in that way.
