my new favorite zutara trope is writing one of them completely head over heels for the other, the other one having no clue and then being plowed over by their own feelings, both being too terrified to outright say something, and then both of them PINING FOREVER.

As far back as I can remember, I have loved to listen. Just be still and listen. The crickets out this morning chirp in songs making the world feel so alive, the fountain in my neighbors yard babbles actively adding its own tune to the song. The city is already awake, in the distance you can hear cars on the roads surrounding me. The city is so peaceful, with its own song.

I am just so in awe of the love and kindness in the Zutara fandom tonight. When I began writing fic last September, I never expected the outpouring of love and support I've received. To be honest, the pandemic aside, last fall was a pretty difficult time for me. I sought out fic as an outlet for what I was dealing with and made this blog a few months later as a way to just check out all the cool fan art. I didn't plan on becoming this active, but you all sucked me in!

Thank you to everyone who has welcomed me with open arms, left kudos/comments on my works, engaged with me here on Tumblr, or any combination of these things. I never, ever expected this response to what I write and just feel so lucky to be involved in this lil community. All of you are truly the absolute best, you bring such brightness to each day, and I am so, so grateful for each and every one of you. You're all so talented and so kind and I just... I wish I had the proper words to thank all of you. 💜

anyone else out there SUPER upset about how the female characters in atla were shafted?

Katara and Suki driving around with the windows down and Whitney Houston blaring. Toph in the backseat trying to act like she's too cool for their shit.

And then... "How Will I Know" comes on and Toph just... Toph just can't ignore it. Because she loves that song.

So she just pops up between Katara and Suki like, "HOW WILL I KNOWWWWWW!" And all three of them are just terrible singers, but they belt that song together regardless.

I've got three days alone while my S.O. is out of town at a job interview which means uninhibited writing time.

Plans include:

Making a dent in the novel.

Finishing Covered in You.

ATLA rewatch.

Working on updates for All the Lights, Wind-Songs, and Your Soul.

giving myself heartache as i write zutara heartache.
