Or maybe there are no scenes of Kara gushing about Mon-El because they touch, kiss and are affectionate with eachother so you don't need to spell it out? Kara wanted to keep it on the d/l, as we saw, keep it between the two of them. I think she was trying to see if giving a chance to Mon-El would pay off before announcing it to the world. With James, since there was zero chemistry you had to spell it out and highlight James' character to make viewers see why she could be into him. A diff. POV.

😂 what the fuck are you watching?? if you can honestly look at james and kara’s interactions from season one and say that there was no chemistry there, but look at mon-el and kara arguing over all the stupid shit he does and be like, “yeah wow what a great and healthy relationship,” then you’re either racist or blind. kara has never once had anything good to say about him, cuz there isn’t anything good to say! the best she can do is say shit like “he’s trying” or that she believes in him. which, congrats i guess?? but literally nothing positive to say about his character. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
