Not everyone’s life is back to normal
We’re still dealing with a virus that we can’t see and we don’t know is there and with the UK now open, without the restrictions, not all of us are back in our lives.
Not everyone is able to mix, or socialise, either because they are high risk, they’re vulnerable, they deal with a disability, or because doing so, is a gamble too far. Since I heard about the pandemic in January 2020, my life has completely changed, and I’ve been through a roller coaster of emotions.
In 2022, I am now four-walled and waiting in the wings, waiting to get back into my life. Through my writing, with autism, I normalise situations so that I can ‘feel normal,’ and so that ‘things’ don’t become bigger than me, and so that I able to have control.
We all deserve and have a right to be able to live our lives the way we want to live. With autism unless we are able to articulate and see our world differently, it is easy to remain locked. Through my blog, I continue to unlock my thoughts.
We have freewill to change and make good choices, or we can choose to ignore our choices, our truths and the universal’s truths, but we can end up back at that place where we will have to deal with our choices and truths based on what the universe requires.
We’re seeing that play out in the wider world. Where truths are being ignored. But facts and truths don’t stop being facts and truth because we choose to ignore them, in the same way, ignoring the fact that we need to heal, doesn’t mean there is no healing to be done.
Turning a blind eye in the pandemic doesn’t help, turning a blind eye simply means we will have to face and deal with the inevitable.
