i'm trying hard to not be despaired and to not give in to fearmongering but genuinely the omnipresence of ai/genai in everything these days makes me so scared. i'm terrified of what it is doing, will do, and has already done to our societies, i'm terrified of the way it has caused even more damange to general literacy, i'm terrified of what it's doing to nature and the planet and i'm terrified of how much it has cost in human dignity for these systems to be trained. i'm so tired of living in a world where greedy corporations obsessed with profit and convenience continuously destroy things without any regard for consequences and it makes me so exhausted to see so many people accept these inhuman changes so readily and without any afterthought. i'm trying hard to keep hope that things can improve but it's so hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel with every other major global issue and i feel so drained
