I'm curious about your spy×family eww au.
First of all, amazing work. I love the concept and your character design. I stan short haired Anya.
I'm curious how the other students at Eden academy fit into this AU. Like Desmond. He had a crush on her, how would he react to seeing Anya after all these years? If he doesn't recognise her, does he just get a crush on her again, which would make a wonderful plot point in my humble opinion.
Also, what part did Yor's brother, Yuri, play in all this? How did the reveal affect their relationship?

As for how the students at Eden fit in all this... well they don't really have a very important presence at first. Like the Forger family just stray up disappeared after the reveal. The “official" story is that the Forgers got divorced and Anya got pulled out of Eden. Of course there were rumors as to why they got divorced. Like saying the father was cheating on his wife, that the wife was a spy, that they were con people, that the father was fired from his job, etc...
In the end Becky and Damian never knew what really happened to Anya or her family...
Fast-forward to when Anya has already escaped, her friends from the Academy will be again later in the story. Her friends don't recognize her at first but they will grow close to each other in the future. Especially Becky and Damian, who are the ones to help Anya the most to readjust to society. Her cover story is that after her parents divorced she moved to the East before the war, and a few years later she enlisted. But at some point she will reveal the truth to her friends.
and YES , Damian will have a crush on Anya, although he would still be a little tsundere at first, since he doesn't really want to accept his feelings, but once he does he can't stop himself from falling for her like. Now we do have to remember that Anya was a government experiment used as a weapon in the war... Girls got trauma. So it is likely that she will not reciprocate his feelings at first, even though she knows how he feels. She just isn't in the right headspace at the moment.
But if something does blossom between them at some point.... I guess we will have to see 👀
As for Yuri, he doesn't know the truth about the divorce between his sister and Loid. He was very surprised and angry to find out about it though. He just wants to hunt down the bastard that hurt his sister's feelings, but Yor convinces him that the divorce was a mutual decision.
I'm not sure if at some point during this Yor will confess to being an assassin. Or if Yuri will find out on his own later in the story.
Honestly since this EVERYTHING WENT WRONG , I guess it will be the latter. Like it will add even more betrayal and angst, I guess.
Hope this answers some questions, but don't worry I'm still coming up with new ideas and I'm always open to hearing ideas from other people too.
