I just keep thinking about those stories or aus where the main villain has a sibling, who helps you defeat them, cause the sibling 'knew' it was for the greater good, or its the family that has to team up to defeat the villain sibling end the end. Because at the end of the day,

they were willing to choose the world over their sibling

And the thing is, I would literally choose my sibling over the world anyday. I dont care about the greater good, since when has the world cared for me as much as my sibling?

like if my sibling became a villain, they probably had a good reason for it. I'd be over here helping hide bodies and stuff

In days like this, it’s very probable for families to have many supernatural ancestors in their bloodlines, making it entire possible for children to be born with angelic, demonic or other essences in them.

You and your twin sibling had the astronomical luck of being born with both, you had the demonic essence and your twin had the angelic essence.

The story writes itself, does it not? A tale of a good and evil sibling, ready to fight until one dies.

Except, for how magical the world is, it’s not always like that.

The others expected it to be like the stories, you being the evil one and your sibling be the good one. Except... you never felt evil, you helped where you could, you spoke nicely to everyone and never once got angry at the others for thinking bad about you. It just... it wasn’t like you to be evil.

Your sibling however, basked in the glory of having angelic essence in them, in the adoration the others gave to them. And now, it all has gone to their head, starting to make some unreasonable requests. Nothing too bad, for now, but it seems like they are testing the waters before truly making unreasonable request.
