After a near death experience in the Sunchaser and Donald, the triplets, Beakley, and Webby left, Scrooge was all alone, in the mansion, with no one else in his life, except for LP who easily forgives his boss, and was forced to reflect upon about how he could’ve stop Della from using the Spear of Selene or have not make Gyro help build that rocket at all. But as he kept thinking about that day and how he risked bankruptcy just to try and save his niece, Scrooge knew what he has to do, and not in a good way.

At McDuck Enterprises, he demanded Gyro to create a magic tracking device for himself, confusing the inventor due to how his boss has pure hatred for that kind of stuff, but with Scrooge’s tone shifting to a infuriated one, Gyro didn’t try to raise any more questions and proceeds to create the prototype.

Despite putting on the prototype, Scrooge was unsuccessful with looking for anything magical to suck up, especially when none of those artifacts in either the other bin or the money bin are even fueling it. The rich duck assumed that the gauntlet was a failure and that he was never gonna get his niece back…

That is until Lena and Magica came over to try and drug Scrooge to get that number one dime, only for the gauntlet to finally activate to not only drain Magica of all of her magic but also imprison Lena and steal the amulet for the first version of the prototype.

And that was when Scrooge had a newfound interest to the one thing he hated the most… Magic…

By promising the triplets that he’ll get their mother back, he strips them away from Donald and got them (including Webby, thanks to him manipulating Beakley) to help him find more magical artifacts or creature to fuel the gauntlet. This included the gods, and Lucifer, who thankfully escape his fate.

And the more magic he gain, the more it corrupted him and severely damaged his arm, resulting in Scrooge forcing his inventor to upgrade his gauntlet more and plan a new ‘rocket’, a rocket that would bring Della home.

One day, Scrooge found out about the Eclipse crystal (need to work on the name) and heard about its powers and how it can bring the sun and moon together and help him find his missing niece, but as he was about to collect it, FOWL tried to stop Scrooge from using a powerful and dangerous crystal, but that led to little to no success.

Because of the dangers of using the eclipse crystal, Scrooge leaves it in the ‘rocket’ just in case he needed as a last resort.

Maybe my most controversial? I have made Fluttershy an off color mudwing. Since this is an AU, I’m twisting things a tad and making Fluttershy a gentle giant, who is ostracized for her strange coloring rather than her poor flying skills. If it doesn’t work, please tell me before I embarrass myself lol

Fritillary (a type of lily as well as a family of butterflies) is an oddly shy mudwing. She was bullied as a dragonet for her unusual coloring for a mudwing as well as how she was the only one of her clutch to hatch. Having no siblings, she had a hard time fitting in among mudwings, so she found solace in the smaller things in life, like the wildlife. She spent less and less time with people as she found herself connecting to creatures big and small instead. Her grace never left her even when she grew to her full bigwing size. Eventually, she knew she needed to know dragons eventually, so she found herself with new friends who accepted her despite her strangeness, maybe she had found her siblings after all.
