Well, in Italy we've been on national mandated quarantine since Wednesday. Make sure you have food in the house, stock up for your hobbies and entertainment (I got plenty of fabrics for sewing!) and enjoy your staycation best as you can.

Not quarantined myself, so no staycation for me, still gotta go to work.... but who knows how it’ll go. I live in fairly small town more or less in the middle of nowhere, so maybe it will never come to that here? Maybe...?

Try making them slightly smaller and baking them for few minutes longer, they look like they puffed up and then squished down a bit out when they came out of the oven. For the icing, go the easier route and simply dip them upside down! I like the classics, so for icing I simply use melted chocolate. I like how the crunchy chocolate shell makes the cream filling seem creamier.

I will make them smaller next time. I was just having way too much fun since I have some decent piping bags and tips now. I didn’t want to stop. Also my oven is still...so uneven. Some were done and starting to burn while others were just...not done and stayed in a bit longer.I hate it, but I’m starting to get a feel for where the best heat is. 

And for this one I couldn’t dip them because I cut off the tops to add the filling. I know pros don’t...but I’m not a pro and I got better filling results when I switched over. Then the chocolate covered up the slices. I made a chocolate icing for it, but I like the idea of just melted chocolate a bit better. 

They were a bit wonky, the cream in the middle was a bit runny, and I had some sloppy chocolate. BUT...I’m sure they taste like the real thing, so I’ll be proud of that.

*hugs* I cried over both of my cars. My first one I totaled, ended up head first into a ditch bad enough that the front wheels came off and yet I only bruised my knees and forearms. The second one i decided to sell because it needed basically a brand new engine and I couldn't afford to sink any more money into it. I still felt like the worst kind of traitor because she had taken me through some major events and two moves. You cry, remember the good times and you move on.

Yeah, but I’m just at the “crying over the good times” part. Moving on is for next week. *siiiiiiiiiigh*

19: Would you go back in time if you were given the chance? well depends how far back i guess and also am I able to get back? bc i’m all for a trip in the TARDIS to some other time but still be able to speak normally and come back whenever
