New Chapter of Unfortunately Famous! 

We see Regina start to take some responsibility and this is a turning pt... 

I would like to preface this with one reader has really caught on to the point of the story and I love the insight they have! Regina, like any celebrity, is not only dealing with potential childhood traumas (everyone has a story for why they become an actor) but also the traumas that are derived from being famous. I think some comments on the story so far are a reflection of what we do to famous people in culture (and there is a good podcast on fame by the Partially Examined Life) we put celebrities on a pedestal to tear them down, there is a further philosophy to my narrative that I am pulling on but I want to see if anyone guesses it in my story comments .

I would like to challenge my readers  (don't have to accept!) to approach with a curious stance and ask "Why"? Why do you think she reacted like she has? What do you think is going on in the background?   

Teaser:

Regina was escorted off the stage and found her way to the first bathroom stall she could find. She locked herself in the back corner of the room, sat down, closed her eyes and put her head between her knees. She kept failing. Emma had given her another chance and she had lit it on fire and thrown it back in her face. 

She whimpered quietly as she rubbed the heels of her hands into her eyes.“Get it together.” she whispered to herself. 

She couldn’t keep doing this, she knew it was one more misstep and Emma wouldn't respond to her again. She had already told her she didn’t want her, despite all of the signs Regina had thought she had seen. She wasn’t what Emma wanted, or needed. Not like this.

She held her breath as she heard the bathroom door open and close.

“Stacie did you hear her talk about her girlfriend? I told you! She’s a fag just like me! You owe me twenty bucks!”

“Oh shut up. You know that was staged. They’re probably just going to set her up with a woman next season to be all gay friendly. You heard her she came out as bi and totally isn’t leaving the D behind.” 

The brunette put her head down and groaned. She needed to get out of here. She needed to get home. It took the women a while to leave but when they did she bolted from the bathroom, and out the first door she could find. She hailed a ride to the airport with just a small duffle and her phone.

The ride was short and it seemed the airport was just slowing down for the night. She wandered up to her airline and handed over her phone pass.

“I need to move up my flight. Is there anything to LA tonight?” 

She leaned against the counter for support, why was she so tired?

The petite woman across from her started to click through her screen as Regina picked up her phone. No messages.

There were a couple of clicks and then the woman cleared her throat and gave Regina a hesitant smile.

“Miss Mills, it looks like the last flight for LA has left already. I have one at 5AM if that would work?” 

It was always a gamble when the LA folks wanted to fly home when flights were done for the night. One moment they're all business, the next they are taking your name and threatening to get you fired, especially the actors and directors.....guess you have to follow the link to read the rest
