Kurt Wagner: Is a romantic by nature, always longed to found someone who would love him, despite him looking like a demon and being German(stupid people love to joke that Kurt is a Nazi and the only proper response for that is punching the person again and again ) and after trials and tribulations, Kurt finally found the one.
Kitty Pryde and Kurt Wagner may not have got themselves a good start but in the end, it doesn´t matter, they are Kurt and Kitty, the Elf and the Katzchen.
Ich bin in dich verliebt.
I´m in love with you. In Germany, is a common thing to say and Kurt can 100% say with honesty and sincerity that he is in love with Kitty Pryde.
What to do? Flowers are a bit cliche, right?
Kurt would debate what to give to Kitty in the valentine´s day for all his life if Kitty didn´t phase through his door and hand him chocolates.
“Happy valentine´s day, elf, life is too short and there´s always a crazy supervillain after us, so, wanna go out with me?”
“Yes,” says the elf with a big grin" but I should have to ask you out"
“Well, you can ask me out on the second date”
Kitty Pryde: Was never excited for the valentine´s day, but after meeting and falling for the resident elf, this holiday wasn´t so bad after all.
Kitty likes Kurt and Kurt like Kitty.
So, in her mind, there´s no need to continue beating the bushes (as Rogue once said tired of the “not couple” being all dovey lovey with each other) and Kitty realizes that she needs to make the first move.
Kurt Wagner is too old fashion combined with shyness, so, Kitty is a modern woman and can take initiative on her own.
“So, this means we are dating?” asked Kurt bashfully.
“Quoting the Princess´s Bride is a way to win my heart, Katzchen”
“I know and I like the flowers, really, no one never gives me flowers before and I love it, thank you”
“Quoting Harry Potter? that´s sappy”
