I chipped in a few $ for the Game Dev scholarship to not only watch an HD stream of EVO 2013 this year, but as a sign of my commitment to actually give up much of my weekend to be a part of EVO for the first time. So many of the moments captured in this fantastic, emotional video I saw unfold live. It really was a wonderful experience and reminded me why I should have never left fighting games in the first place. For those who don't know what EVO is, weren't a part of it, or, like me, already feel nostalgia for the experience, this is for you. Enjoy and share.

EVO 2013 Moments

Evolution 2013, set in Las Vegas, Nevada from July 12-14, gathers the best fighting game players for three days in the world's biggest video game tournament. EVO 2013 Moments is comprised of mainly footage from the last day, the finals, across multiple games: Super Smash Brothers, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Injustice, and Super Street Fighter 4 AE.
