Anyways "Sydney" is what Tom named the demon possessing him. I noticed that he has a lot of things named after S named (Susan, Stacy, Steve, Sally etc) so i went for Sydney. Sounds like a name he'd use.

Tomee Bear is Sydney's vessel until Tom is like 20 or so, thats when he starts to look like (---)

Once Tom gains more control, Sydney backs off and lets him control most of the time. She'll never admit it, but she cares for Tom. After his parents died She took care of him and protected him. I think he projected a lot of that onto the bear since, as a kid, thats where Sydney would be most of the time

Sydney only pops out in moments of pure distress, pain, or anger. It's hard to determine since Tom is so weird and cartoony but she's there.

clord shower thoughts again

tord finds out the hard way that playing god has its consequences. his constant self-deprecation and overworking and clord's growing resentment of him as his creator and handler all contributes to clord's superiority complex. he seems himself as the perfect design, the ultimate version of tord - so naturally, it's only fair he takes his place... and has a little fun with it, too.

you can design a clone exactly to your likings physically speaking, but no one can control a living being with free will. no amount of "training" can teach a person to act how you want, to suppress those urges that scare you. in fact, it has the opposite effect in making clord rebel harder.

as i've talked about before in my speculation/headcanons/just plotbunny talk, tord reacts to losing all control of clord by retreating completely into himself and shutting out the world. he's terrified, and knows this is his fault. he's too scared to face both a monster of his own making AND a version of him with all the things he hates about himself ironed out. he has no idea the extent to which clord's behavior ends up going - he's completely isolated himself at that point.

he spends most of his time watching shitty anime, frantically writing down thoughts, and "researching" (doom-googling). he doesn't know what else to do. he still goes to work like nothing happened. no one asks. it seems incidents of this nature at redeux are brushed under the rug.
