Amidst rising markets East West Bancorp, Inc. closed Wednesday up 2.30%, a $1.64 increase to close on $73.02. In addition it hit a new 52 week high of $73.13. East West Bancorp, Inc. bounced 12.35% between low and high.

EWBC outperformed the rest of the Financials sector which went up 1.84% today.
