I've discovered a new website recently, named Excalidraw. It's like an online big whiteboard. And I instantly thought it could be useful to try that to help me write that wip called The light he's gonna keep. Don't know if you heard about it, if not, where have you been all this year?

So, here I am testing it, and I spend almost all day organising things. I'm only at chapter 9.

What's helpful is that you can use Ctrl+F which you can't do with post-its.

Cannot overstate how fucking nice the Obsidian+Excalidraw combo is for someone as illustratively inept as me.

I know the whole "can't hardly draw a stick figure" thing is very overused and probably obnoxious at this point, but it genuinely takes me a couple tries to draw a stickdude who isn't weirdly long or slanted or misshapen in some hitherfore undiscovered manner.

But sometimes I just need to express a small idea visually because words are just not the correct medium for the idea. Excalidraw has the perfect bare minimum of tools to for someone like me to make a quick little visual note that's coherent to other people. And I can even save little presets drawings and pull them into the current note whenever in like two clicks.
