tbh, since he has mental gymnastics-ed himself into thinking you're both in a relationship, he wouldn't actively flirt with anyone else even as a way to get back at you. he takes loyalty very seriously (and imposes this concept on you, rather unfairly). he might be curious about your reaction, but he isn't going to actively reciprocate. the lack of indignation on your part does offend him a little bit though.
in his best, pretending-not-to-be-sad-that-you-aren't-filled-with-righteous-fury-over-your-super-hot-boyfriend-not-boyfriend-being-flirted-with voice, he'll ask what you made of the interaction. you just kinda shrug, say that she seems friendly, and you liked her earrings. he sighs.
you don't get what he's all huffy about. girls are pretty, what's so wrong with complimenting them? he's acting more dejected over this than when you've yelled at him in the past for being a monster. his prioritization is truly a mystery.
