As in, something ended up the way it did out of your control... in a way.
제가 미워하는 사람의 파티에 가게 됐어요.
I ended up going to the person i hate’s party. (As a result of some external force)
전 닭튀김을 안 좋아하는데 먹게 됐어요.
Even though I dont like fried chicken, I ended up eating it anyway.
Sometimes 어쩌다 will be added to a sentence with ~게 되다
어쩌다 닭튀김을 먹게 됐어요.
I ended up eating fried chicken.
어쩌다 doesnt really have a meaning on its own (sorry for the bad typing. I cut my finger today woops)

Meaning 1: ~에 의하면 (면 means if, but in this case it doesn't really mean anything) According to Examples: 가수 팬에 의하면 그 가수는 춤추기도 잘 해요. According to the singer's fans, that singer dances well too. 선생님에 의하면 내일 수업은 더 쉬울 거예요 According to the teacher, tomorrow's class will be easier. Meaning 2: ~에 의해 Due To Examples: 우리 집에서 발생한 불에 의해 우리 소지품은 사라졌어요. Due to the fire that started in our home, our belongings were lost. 폭풍에 의해 집에서 나갈 수 없어요. We can't go outside due to the storm. You could replace 에 의해 in these sentence with 때문에 (because of) and it would mean the same thing. It is also more common to do so. You can also use (으)로 인하다: 우리 집에서 발생한 불으로 인해 소지품을 사라졌어요. Same meaning! 저는 낮은 가격으로 인해 많은 걸 샀어요. I bought a lot of things because of the low price(s). You can also use ~에 의한 to describe an upcoming noun 독에 의한 사망 death by poison [you can finish the sentence]

NO PROBLEM ~아/어 도 되다
This can be used to say there is no problem or something is going well. Like something is working well: 수선자는 컴퓨터를 고쳐서 잘 돼요. The repairman fixed the computer so it's working. Or the opposite! Using 안 or 못 컴퓨터가 안 돼요. The computer isn't working. 음식이 안 돼요. The food isn't ready. To be allowed to do: 지금 먹어도 돼요. You can eat now. / You're allowed to eat now. 문을 열어도 돼요? Can I open the door? 들어가도 돼요? Can I come in? Don't have to do something. 안 아/어 도 되다 오늘 학교에 안 가도 돼요. You don't have to go to school today. 오늘 학교에 안 가도 돼요? I don't need to go to school today? Expressions: 됐어(요)! That's enough!; Done!; Forget it! 안 돼(요)! No!! …(으)면 안돼(요). This cannot happen. Ex: 우리 집에서 나가면 안 돼요. You can't leave our home. I dunno 되다 has so many usages and meanings but these are ones I think I use frequently. ~보라
