ALICE IN CHAINS AT TONS OF ROCK 2018!
Legendary grunge icons ALICE IN CHAINS are about to embark on their next live chapter, by taking over their native USA first and then heading to Europe where they will take over Norway’s notorious summer festival TONS OF ROCK. The 2018 edition of TONS OF ROCK has already been attracting fans from all over the globe with a bill to die for. ALICE IN CHAINS will be joined by bands of the like of OZZY OSBOURNE, HELLOWEEN, ABBATH, WARDRUNA, EXODUS, Swedish black metal supreme force MARDUK and OPETH (making their exclusive only concert in Norway 2018 at TONS OF ROCK) to name but few.
TONS OF ROCK will take place from 20 to 22 June between the stunning walls of the Fredriksten Fortress in Halden, located not too far from Oslo (120 km). The fortress itself is spectacular, and becomes the perfect festival ground for the whole week-end. The festival will have its own camp located next to the festival area, which makes it easier not to miss any action during the three days of total, pure live bliss (please note that the festival camp is strictly over 18 years of age. Young children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times, and must be protected against high volume and loud noises. Visibly intoxicated individuals caring for children will not be tolerated and will be handled by appropriate authorities. Children accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who is a festival ticket holder, may enter free of charge).

For the out of towners who prefer the comfort of hotel accommodations, TONS OF ROCK offers several options, including transportation to and from the festival sight with return tickets from and to Oslo, as well as night coaches from and to Fredrikstad, Moss and Sarpsborg. Please note:
The buses to/from Oslo are direct buses between The Norwegian Opera and the festival area.
The buses to Fredrikstad arrive at Fredrikstad bus station.
The buses to Fredrikstad stop both at Quality Spa Hotel and central Sarpsborg.
The buses to Moss arrive at Moss station.
All tickets are one way and must be purchased in advance at www.ticketmaster.no. The sale will end on Monday 18th of June, 2018.
*NOTE! Remember that all night coaches is listed with their departure dates the following day, as they departure after midnight. Meaning that if you have visited the festival on Thursday 21st of June and will travel home at night you will need to buy a ticket that says Night Bus Thursday, but the departure date on this ticket will state Friday 22nd of June 02:30, as it will be past midnight.

During the festival, there will be plenty of food stalls and markets where merch and exclusive items will be available to purchase anytime. Please note that you must be able to provide a valid proof of age when buying alcohol throughout the festival area.
