30 Day Shred Hack
I have a love hate relationship with the 30 Day Shred. LOVE: short; intense; gets results; easy to follow. HATE: hard; feels long when doing it; soreness; monotony.
I don't know about you guys, but I'm a really bad finisher. I have started the 30 Day shred COUNTLESS times and never gotten past 10 days and into level 2. Well guess what? I'm starting level 2 THIS week :) so excited. But I have done level 1 so many times I have Jillian MEMORIZED and that makes for a boring workout. I've also noticed I can tell when we are getting to the end of a set of reps and I will sometimes peter out too early. So in order to combat laziness and exercise fatigue, I turned jillian down, and turned some pop music up. I can still sorta hear her, but not really and I get into the workout more since it feels WAY less monotonous. That's my little 30DS hack. when you get to the last days of a level, try subbing music so you reduce boredome. :)
I'm going to have a BEAST week. I can feel it. I won't be disappointed if I don't lose another 5 lbs, but boy that would make me happy, so I'm going to work my ass off. I get to see my darling in 18 days so we can get the marriage license and I really want to impress him (he loves me just the way I am, and is a little worried about my me wasting away. lol).
