New blog post up: 2019 Essex steam train half relay. #steamtrainhalf This race is significant because it made me see that I needed medication management for breathing while running. After this race, I saw my primary physician and was diagnosed with #exerciseinducedasthma. Angie and Tracy provided the support to address breathing issues. This occurs when the body is unable to supply enough oxygen to the lungs, which results in inflammation and sensitivity in the lungs pneumatic airways. Environmental factors and exercises compel the lung pathway, which gives asthma a catalyst. That is, exercise for asthmatic patients is beneficial.
