I guess you can call it the three B's?
This was my routine yesterday, right after work:
Bike machine for 30 minutes
"Around The World" if you go to 24 Hour Fitness, or if they have this machine with that option
Intensity was at 5 the whole time
Watched about two episodes of Bob's Burgers & sweated like a monkey
Followed that by back & biceps:
Hammer Strength machine
- One that targeted more of my traps
- The other for my lats
- 3x12 for both
- Starting & ending weight was 25 lb plates on both side for the first workout
- Starting weight for the second workout was 25 lb plates on both sides. Increased by 5 lbs each set
Close Grip Rows
- 3x12
- Started with 50 lbs & ended with 65 lbs
- I also did an extra set with low weights (40 lbs) at higher reps (20)
Hyper Extension
- 3x12
- I used a 25 lb plate
Assisted Pull Ups
- 3x12
- I used 50 lb deficit
- I also did an extra set with a low deficit weight with higher reps
Preacher Curls
- 3x12
- 10 lbs to start then 15 lbs for all three working sets
Cable Curls
- 3x12
- I couldn't read the weight but I know it's the third weight down
- I did an extra set with lower weights at a higher reps
I kept sipping on my pre workout which continued to give me energy through out my whole entire workout. I think if I didn't have to go home, I would have stayed for another couple of hours doing who knows what.
I feel like I can go heavier each week & that's definitely my goal. My other goal is to continue doing accessory work for my bigger lifts like, squats, deadlifts, & bench, as well as, press. So for back I really concentrated on the hyper extension for my lower back for when I squat.
