First Impressions Friday with Q+A 🤩
Happy start to the weekend everybody! 🎉 I hope you’ve all got some fun plans laid out, whether that’s going for a nice walk somewhere or snuggling up with a book or a loved one 🥰 I’m going to do some quick-fire reviews today on the Niacinamide and Zinc PCA range from Q+A, which I received as a giveaway prize a few months ago 😍
🎀 Niacinamide Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser - I’ve only tried this a few times in the morning so far and I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how gentle and non-abrasive it is. There aren’t a lot of scrubby bits in this which gives it more of a typical gel consistency which is really nice for oily and combination skin types, and it leaves your skin soft and balanced afterwards. I do think this could be a bit drying if used daily on any skin that isn’t excessively oily, which is why I’m sticking to using it just a few times a week instead.
🎀 Niacinamide Daily Toner - I use this toner 1/2 times a day, and I love how moisturising it is! It’s great for when my skin feels like it needs a helping hand in the hydration department without making my skin feel greasy or too overloaded. I can’t say too much about the benefits of it yet, but as well as niacinamide it’s got some lovely ingredients like hyaluronic acid, aloe vera and honeysuckle extract to calm and soothe your skin.
🎀 Zinc PCA Facial Serum - this serum claims to minimise the appearance of blemishes and helps to stimulate collagen production. I love how lightweight this serum is and how quickly it sinks into the skin, which is a massive plus for me when I’m rushing around in the mornings. Again I can’t say much about its long-term benefits, but it does feel like it calms down my reactive skin and adds extra nourishment too.
🎀 Zinc PCA Daily Moisturiser - this moisturiser soothes and brings down aggravated breakouts while reducing excess oil on the skin. This is pretty difficult to blend into the skin as it’s quite thick and white, but once it’s finally rubbed in it leaves my skin super soft with no greasy feeling. I love using this when my skin is freaking out as it feels like it calms everything down overnight, and it works great as a daytime moisturiser too (with or without make-up). An ideal day-to-night option!
