Exo-CBX and NewJeans...

In recent courthouse drama news, both EXO-CBX and NewJeans lost their lawsuits against their respective companies SM Entertainment and HYBE. I don't doubt for a minute that these idols were mistreated by their agencies, because that's just modus operandi, but they were not able to produce evidence to prove the mistreatment that would have warranted their breach of contract.

Companies really have nothing to lose when idols sue them, even if they lose, they'll just lose an artist and find their next victims, but let an idol stand up for their rights, and they lose everything, their money, reputation, fame, fans... But at the same time, if you're going to breach a contract, make 100% sure you have evidence to back up your claims. The EXO members shouldn't have renewed their contracts to begin with, NewJeans shouldn't have stuck to Min Hee Jin like glue and defend risking their own livelihood to begin with, etc. Anyway, good luck to everyone, the fight isn't over yet.
