Explaining sexuality with hot drinks
OK, since I've been struggling to accept myself as Ace, and a recurring thing I've seen in Aspec discourse are the parameters of sexuality I thought I'd offer up this handy guide:
Heterosexuality/straight: you like drinking tea
Homosexuality/gay and lesbian: you like drinking coffee
Bisexuality: you like drinking both tea and coffee
Pansexuality: you like drinking tea, coffee and hot chocolate too
Transgender: your parents and family have always given you tea, but you actually prefer coffee (or vice versa)
Non binary/gender fluid: sometimes you drink tea and sometimes you drink coffee or hot chocolate. It all depends on how you're feeling on the day
Asexuality: you don't really like any hot drinks, but you make yourself a cup of tea/coffee/hot chocolate occasionally or if someone else offers you one
Aromatism: you drink water and dont see what all the fuss is about liking tea/coffee
