always thinking about jeb & the concept of stretching oneself. not breaking yourself, not burning off inconvenient pieces, not shoving into a new mold, just stretching. pulling at yourself, filling spaces you never could before. limbs get longer, willingness extends, you do things you would’ve considered atrocities, but you’re still yourself. just stretched, pulled, further and further, over and over. and then, one unpredictable day, you stretch too far, and it all snaps, and you aren’t a person at all anymore.
