I’m aware this is a weird ass crossover BUT it does just happens that this is the combination of brain rot in my head :D

Been watching Critical Role C1 for the first time for a few months now (currently on ep61) and it got mixed up with one of the worse binging eras i’ve had, Macgyver (I watched the whole thing in like 2 weeks. Also for the first time)

I first got obsessed with this idea when in an episode of MacGyver (can’t find which one), Riley offhandedly says that Mac made her a gadget to amplify bluetooth waves or something. And I just connected that to Percy making stuff for Vex :)

(I need more macgyver art and fics, tbh)

Update Bow Skill Gems in Path of Exile 3.9

Alongside the new Skills and Supports we’ve talked about recently, we're also reworking three bow skills, including Explosive Arrow, Shrapnel Shot and Burning Arrow, and making a number of mechanical and balance adjustments to other skills. We've added an arrow 'surge' to many bow skills, as well as a burst of energy released from the bow as you fire. This makes arrow skills feel much punchier and easier to see at lower levels.

Splitting a Tree With a Dinamite Arrow

What they did:

Strap dinamite to an arrow.

The force of the explosion only hit the side of the tree. The explosion could only split the tree in half if it was inside the tree. They do bring this up in the show and they address this by putting explosives directly into the tree.

What I would have tried:

I wouldn’t take the arrow part out of the myth so quickly. I would have put the explosive in the arrow.

Do I think this would actually work?

No, of course not. I just think it would be closer to the desired result. And, would be a really cool weapon for one of my fictional characters. So, still theoretically busted, but I got something cool out of it!
