Wow! Finally posting some pictures of my wings. Sorry about the quality in some of these, I haven’t had time to do a nice photoshoot yet!
For some more info:
-My wingspan in these is about 10 feet
-The wings are spring loaded to open and pull shut to close
-They weigh abouuut 6 pounds I’d guess (I can hold them up with one hand)
-Every feather is hand cut and hand glued. I did the painting and detailing with an airbrush
-The frame is made of PVC pipes, the nuts and bolts are made of nylon, and the feathers are cut from underlayment foam to make everything ultra light weight
