🔮 headcanons for fred if he were a dad 🥺🥺

Nonnie, this is the CUTEST thing I have ever seen. 

Headcanon under the cut! This one got away from me as I’ve done from pregnancy, to birth, to fatherhood.

Fred Weasley as a father:

you best believe he is devoted 

he has been since you told him 

he’ll even admit that he cried when you told him because

what

pregnant?

are you sure?

then the biggest grin would take over his face and he’d just shake his head in disbelief 

bc here you are - already in love with him and now you’re pregnant with his baby

he’d try to joke, make some quip but the emotion would definitely be too much

BUT HE WOULD BE SO HAPPY BC THERE’S GOING TO BE A BABY THAT’S HALF HIM AND HALF YOU AND IF THAT ISNT PERFECT THEN HE DOESNT KNOW WHAT IS. 

I WANNA TALK ABOUT TELLING HIS MUM AND DAD FOR A MINUTE:

you’ll have waited until after the first trimester as the risk of anything happening lowers after 12 weeks 

and it was HARD for Fred to keep quiet about it because he told Molly everything (I firmly believe that Fred keeps nothing from Molly)

but he keeps quiet just in case 

but then when he does tell them, and you do tell them together, he starts to tear up all over again

Molly is beside herself; excited for another grandchild and already gets her bewitched knitting needles to start creating baby booties in a neutral colour. She pulls both you and Fred into a hug and she just constantly babbles about how happy she is for the both of you

Arthur is beyond happy too - he loves being a grandad and one more to the family is just one more person to love for who they are. He lets a few tears fall as he embraces the both of you.

There are going to be times through the pregnancy where Fred has his worries; he’s a first time father so it’s natural - that’s when he approaches Arthur and Bill and George who have all had children by this point and they all reassure him

He also talks to you - late at night in bed; his hand on your small bump - he whispers his worries into the moonlight and you do your best to dispel them. 

He feels calmer once he’s spoken to you and the next morning, he walks to the library so he can check out all the pregnancy books he can carry. 

Of course, through all of this he’s making jokes and just genuinely being himself - he’s happier around the joke shop; smiling at every customer walking through the door.

He’s in Diagon Alley when he sees it 

the perfect gift

It’s a tiny little teddy - a brown owl that looks just like Errol 

He buys it 

and you cry when he gives you it - the first teddy for your little baby 

He paints out the baby’s room; a muted version of the orange of WWW that reminds you of a sunset. 

He’s immensely proud of the nurses; having George’s and Ron’s help to put up all the furniture and organise it the way you wanted.

it’s perfect and you wouldn’t change a thing

LABOUR:

He’s wonderful through the labour 

he cracks jokes with the nurses, making them smile on the backend of a long night shift 

He stops though when a contraction hits

instead whispering encouraging words and holding your hand 

when the nurses have you turn on your side for a bit of relief

his hand immediately starts to rub your back 

and through another contraction, his fingers find that spot that helps relieve some of the pressure and you could cry from how wonderful is. 

AND THEN:

The baby arrives; a little girl and Fred is utterly besotted by her - he cuts her umbilical cord in awe

After she’s been cleaned and placed on your chest; she’s handed to Fred as you drift off to sleep - understandably shattered.

He stands a foot away from your bed; the pink bundle of his daughter in his arms and he doesn't say anything

he just stares down at her 

because she’s so perfect

and she’s here

and she’s going to be the luckiest girl in the world 

and he’s overwhelmed because he doesn't know if he needs to say anything or whether it’s okay to simply stare

what he does do though, is kiss her forehead and make a promise

he promises to make sure that his daughter constantly knows that she is always loved and he endeavours to ensure that she is always happy and that she never knows a days harm like you and he did just a few short years ago. 

he promises all that and more as he watches the sleeping babe

FATHERHOOD:

so I mentioned earlier that he's devoted

he’s the best father 

he tries to emulate Arthur in all he does before he finds his own rhythm 

he does as many night feeds as possible even though he knows you need to get up too

and he’s happy to change nappies 

and rock her to sleep

he’s happy to do it all because he doesn't quite believe that he has a daughter

and you can BET THAT HE SINGS THE LULLABIES THAT MOLLY SANG TO THEM

as your daughter gets older, Fred starts to take her into work as often as possible - she has a growing interest in pranks and all things jokes 

and Fred wonders if it must run in his blood 

He’s a natural at it all:

kisses skinned knees

wipes away tears 

plaits her hair 

plays tea parties 

he does it all 

and he can’t wait to do it all again when you tell him that you’re pregnant with your second child.

AND WE ALL KNOW HE CRIED WHEN HIS ELDEST GOES TO HOGWARTS FOR THE FIRST TIME - CRIED ON THE WAY THERE, ON THE PLATFORM, HE EVEN RAN AFTER THE TRAIN MAKING A SCENE 

and yeah, he may have shouted a bit when she got sorted into Gryffindor knowing that the Weasley products in her trunk would go to great use there.

I just feel very passionately about Fred being a father - can you tell?

Favourite way to waste time and feelings surrounding wasting time.

I don’t think Yamato is very familiar with the concept of wasting time. From what we gather in the series, he is often seen practicing his music during his alone time, and that could be considered productive from a musician’s point of view.

Mostly, I think Yamato is often honing one skill or another, even when he’s apparently wasting time. When he’s got a while to kill he’ll practice an instrument, learn a new song, dedicate a few hours to song-writing. Even later, in life, when he has chosen a path that clearly takes him away from the performing arts, he uses music as a way to focus on the task at hand.

I am also convinced, entirely, that his interests are progressively more refined as time goes on. He enjoys jazz, reading, playing first-person-shooters and strategy games, like Age of Empires and Starcraft. I think he’d really be into nu-art and architecture, and car exhibitions, as well. He enjoys the news and re-constructing machinery.

Headcanon recently popped out of the oven: Mimi once bought The Sims and it came with a special package of Sims City that she didn’t care for and gave it to Yamato because he was there when she got it. Both have found that the Sims franchise is a dangerous power not to be messed with, as they have spent entire weekends without showering and sleeping, obssessed over their Sim worlds.

They have absolutely no regrets about this.

How do they express love?

Okay, I’m not going to lie: I was thinking about this question all day long at work. Partly because I was surprised to get another ask; partly because Taichi-san, goddammit.

I was thinking about Gary Chapman’s “five languages of love” and I thought that the one best suited for Taichi would be physical touch or intimacy. Taichi is a very physical, hot-headed person. In Adventure we can see that he’s always moving, always touching, always doing things seemingly without a second thought, a second glance, a second’s consideration. He’s quick to punch, quick to fight, quick to hug, quick to make up. He beats Yamato up when he’s at a loss for what to do, and when Yamato needs a good punch in the face. This is also how he best responds to things: Yamato hits him when he’s angry, when he’s being irrational, and when he’s scared out of his mind and needs him to come to his senses (I keep using Yamato as an example but it’s because, at the end of the day, I think they’re each other’s most significant relationship. And yes, I do mean that).

This makes me think that he best way for him to express his love for someone is by being physical too. I imagine he’s the sort of lover to always hover semi-protectively over his partner, the sort that’s always touching, even if it’s just a hand, an elbow, a pair of knees. I think Taichi is a hugger, has curious hands and hungry lips and he’s very active, very straight-forward, very dominant in his fields of expertise. Being physical is something Taichi is good at, and you’re damn right he’s going to express love in this way. For this reason and this reason only, Taichi is the one I imagine having the most relationships and, not entirely unrelated, the most sex.

So I think Taichi expresses love in the way he knows best: kissing, touching, bumping noses, and shoulders and other bits, too. I think he’s the sort of person that will say “I love you” like it’s the most natural thing in the world, like it was never an option not to, but he won’t say it often and he won’t say it just because. It’s nothing conscious, it’s just that he has other better, louder ways of saying it and he pretty much sticks to what he knows. This might also be why he’s sometimes unaware of what others are thinking or feeling, unless they express it physically.

I keep thinking about that scene where Sora is crying and he asks Yamato what to do and Yama just shrugs, telling him: “if she wants to cry, let her”. And Taichi is genuinely shocked, because not only is he unaware of how to deal with his best friend crying, he is expected not to do anything, and that’s something he’s never been asked before. So that’s how I see it: Taichi’s a doer, not a thinker, and that translates just as well into his love life.

Idk man, I have so many Taichi feels and I just want to hug that beautiful cinnamon roll forever and ever. Sweet, sweet, Taichi-san.

As a child, Klug was cared for by his parents, but was raised in a reclusive environment. He almost never left the house, not even to go out in the yard. His favorite place to go in the house was the Library, which was quite large when compared to the rest of the place. Over time, Klug became quite smart for his age, and his parents decided that he should start going to the Primp Magic School. He didn't exactly have good experiences in his first yeat. He was pushed around by the older kids, and couldn't have a single day to himself without somebody playing keep-away with his book or another beloved item, like his hat or glasses. His parents were fed up with how he was treated after coming home with bruises, so he was taken out of school until his 3rd year. He changed his attitude to a feigned arrogance. Sometime during his return, he meets Raffine, who keeps calling him “Mr. Goody Two-shoes”. He grew aware of her rough life and simply shrugged off the routine.

Her outfit is going to be the same, except that the sleeves are short to show her arms. Her hair is also going to be in a ponytail so her horns are visible. She's got this down perfectly, with the outfit and everything ready. She simply needs to work on her confidence.

Popoi is actually Ms. Accord's alternate personality, personified as a cat. She avoids letting him out of her hands because she becomes Black Accord when she does so. Accord is especially careful when around her students because she is aware of how dangerous Black Accord is. Black Accord is sadistic and cruel, not to mention mischievous. Her eyes become very dark and even "scary" to some. Because of this, she opens her eyes to threaten those who are wronging her, or just for fun.
