not to be emo on main, but can we please appreciate that the last person who has patted Todo’s head affectionately while telling him that he will be a great hero was Rei and that Todo really really needed this kind of recognition from his childhood hero? The one he looked on tv with his mom when he was little?

Because the way he doesn’t expect All Might to show pride in him but then soaks it up greedily really got to me and I’m proud of him too 

Also, I love the juxtaposition to Bakugou, aka someone who’s been soaking in praise all his life by his own parents’ admission. hating being touched and kinda taking All Might’s praise and the display of affection for granted... meanwhile todo is like ‘oh. this feels very nice. thanks”
