Control (2019) // The Poetic Edda, tr. Jackson Crawford & Henry Adams Bellows // Langa Edda manuscript depicting Níðhöggr gnawing the roots of Yggdrasil
The Dark Place is never empty like a void. Even at its most shadowy, it is always snarling and full to bursting and brimming with barely restrained potential, ready to lash out and snare anything with a creative spark that will give it form.

Can a place know the future? Can it change its skin? Can it wander?
