Completing the Elite Trine with Thundercracker and Skywarp!
Yeah, I wasn't joking about recolors. The next post of the F1 series should be the original Coneheads from the 1st season of G1.
Thundercracker is rather IDW-based in that they decide to pursue the arts instead of fighting. Skywarp is a mix of G1 and EarthSpark, because Skywarp in ES is incredible, we love her.
For future notice: Trines (or Teams) in this AU are designated with wheel colors. For the Elite Trine (Team Elite), their wheels are red, since Starscream loves his reds, I tell you. The colors can be decided by the leader, or by the group as a whole. It's usually the group.

Starting off my attempt at this concept is the main man himself-- Starscream!
(Skywarp & Thundercracker here~!!!)
He's still our cunning, backstabbing freak of a man, but now he's a Formula One race car! He leads the Racers, which is this AU's version of the Seekers, and is the undefeated champion of the streets!
I was planning on adding ads and other F1 elements, but the designs are so panel-like, thanks to the inspiring Classics/Henkei Henkei Mirage toy, that I decided to scrap the idea. Maybe Kaz's designs can utilize the advertisements tastefully, but my official designs are unsuited. At least with my current skill level.
I have the idea that Astrotrain in this AU would have a car hauling truck as one of his alts lol-

Due to Cyberverse and EarthSpark handling his appearance more uniquely than the rest of the Seekers, he gets a slightly different design here. All Seekers will get the same design, except for the Coneheads.

Finally, omfg-- I can post these three. IRL shit be happening, can't just sit down and draw, but we now have the F1 Rainmakers. They've been done for a while, I just finally had time to post them.
In the F1 universe, they are called the Rainmakers due to their powerful tires, which are manufactured to repel liquids and end up "raining" on anyone unfortunate enough to be nearby.
Nova Storm (based on ES she's so cool) is the leader of Team Rainmaker. Ion Storm and Acid Storm (based partially on Cyberverse) are her loyal teammates; they all work seamlessly together— mainly because Acid and Ion are perfectly content with their placements beneath her.
For AU reasons (and to give them some individuality), they all have older names. Nova Storm was Supernova, Ion Storm was Anion, and Acid Storm was Neowing. It was because of Acid's self-experimentation gone-wrong that the team's identity was formed.
I love Nova Storm and her two nerdy scientist partners--

I want the robot mode color placement for my designs to be as close as possible to the coneheads' OG designs but also make sense for the new alt mode.
How does it look? Should I rethink the placements? What could be changed?
The transformation has been altered so that the top half of the conehead is actually backwards, allowing for the cockpit to be in the front instead of on the back, and for half of the car's nose to be the helmet.
It was the best I could do to allow my favorite goobers their unique transformation. It's why I want to make sure I do them right.

Have y'all really looked at the TFO Conehead designs? Because they're just... so fucking pretty..
There's not much I can say about this group (Team Conehead), but Dirge is the unofficial-but-official leader, and he chose purple as the team's wheel color. Don't worry, Thrust and Ramjet still complain about it.
They're still a group of dumbasses, and though they fight all the time, they'd kill for each other. You mess with one, you mess with 'em all!

AAYEE I’m so happy you like them! I’ve been working all morning on getting these designs finished and tweaked, so now I’m proud to say I’ll be able to color the rest of the goobers!
I can’t wait to see what you do with the designs! I felt bad I couldn’t get the ads to work, but I saved myself a ton of trouble by not doing it. I hope you’re able to get that idea to work!
