It's kinda sad that starscream is having a better time with the autobots- the enemy he's supposed to be fighting against, than he ever did with the decepticons
Well, I wouldn’t say his time with the Decepticons was ALL bad. In fact, while staying with the Autobots, some familiar faces may turn up at the Autobot base now that Starscream is hanging out there!
For a lot of people, the war has essentially been over for nearly three years (due to both Optimus and Megatron being out of the picture). Now that Megatron is back, not everyone wants to go back to war, and some of the Decepticons that had been hiding out on Earth are starting to reach out for help. I think with Starscream staying with the Autobots, he'd become a sort of liaison between ex-Decepticons and Autobots. This isnt to say they're all living at Autobot base now, some of them might, while others like Swindle are out doing their own thing and only showing up to trade or whatever else.
A bit annoying to Starscream considering they wouldnt follow him when he was technically leader of the Decepticons, but we take what we can get.
I like to imagine that all the decepticon seekers are connected in some way, which makes the idea that Starscream is just working with his entire family tree even funnier.
Concept: Cybertronians with flight-capable alt modes look like grubs as sparklings. They gain a more humanoid shape and wings after undergoing a brief pupation. The Seekers, who were born with tiny wings, are the exception to this rule.
Your work is amazing! I'm not sure if you're going to dismiss this or how soon it's going to happen, but I'm not sure if. I'm going to request after au with Thrust, Dirge and Ramjet🙏 These coneheads are so silly and funny, but almost no one talks about them :(
And I JUST INCREDIBLY LOVE YOUR AFTER AU, I'm not afraid to say it, it's the best thing you've ever come up with. Every time I read the after au, it warms my heart so much🥺
Keep up the good work and I hope everything works out for you!
(Sorry if something is unclear, english isn't my native language)
I haven’t written for them before, but I can try! @irreproduciblemagnet suggested this ‘job’ for them

Coneheads x Reader
• Head turning at a low, warning rumble from one of your newest community service, parolee helpers, you watch Ramjet moving to intercept one of the regular problem makers before he can get near a single mom and her two kids. Even mass displaced, the big Cybertronian is better than an overprotective guard dog once you’d given him a purpose; asking him to look after the vulnerable had galvanized him. And you glance over at the other two helping in the soup kitchen. Spotting Dirge talking to an exhausted looking man with mascara smudged under one eye. Hadn’t been sure about the three at first, had actually been against having any aliens near your people, but after getting to know them, you’d relaxed. Because they’re not human, but they’re still just people.
• Engines snarling as he enters the kitchen, the two teenage humans that were whispering with their heads close both startle. “Suck face after your shift,” Thrust growls as they both flush. “You’re here to feed the hungry, not try to make more humans.” Optics narrowing as they both hunch, trying to busy themselves, he clears his vents. “Those are your people out there. Hungry and counting on you.” Pointing imperiously at the door to the main lobby, he watches the two scurrying before he turns his stare on the older man who’s supposed to be supervising. And failing at it. So he’d taken over. Someone had to.
• It doesn’t take much to scare off the man and Ramjet watches him as he wanders over to the other side of the lobby where the rest of the volunteers are busy working. Where you are. Glancing over at you, he makes a slow circuit while keeping an optic on you. Asking if the humans need anything and making sure no one’s bothering you. This place reminds him uncomfortably of Cybertron before the war. Of the stark line between those that had enough and those who had nothing. He’d seen it. Had only been spared living it because of his altmode.
• “It gets better,” Dirge murmurs as the man slowly nods and he tries to gauge the human’s age. Not quite an adult. At least he doesn’t think so anyway. It’s hard to tell with aliens. “It might seem like this is never ending, but it’s not.” Hadn’t known what to make of humans actually seeking him out, wanting him to talk them down. But apparently his serious voice is calming according to you. Grounding.
• They’re surprisingly good at this. At taking care of others. Definitely hadn’t expected that when they’d been dumped on you and the shelter. And Thrust is headed your way, his optics sweeping the shelter lobby like it’s his kingdom. “Those younglings were at it again,” he growls and you raise your eyebrows. “Fraternizing.” Trying to not laugh at his offended tone, you reach out to pat his arm and he looks down at your hand on him. ‘They’re teenagers and at least they volunteered,’ you say as he rumbles. ‘We need all the help we can get.’ Because there are more people showing up hungry and displaced daily.
