Well, I haven't improved his crit ratio yet, but this week's DU run was officially carried by DPS Dan "Terravox" Heng and thus the team ended up being "Oops, All Supports" by default. I started with crit Luocha in the final slot and eventually realized they were further ahead bringing the other crit shielder with my custom build for extra crit damage buffs and effect resist.
The above screenshot damage is Dan's ult for 4.3 mil and then his summon follow-up for 3.3 mil. What's important to remember is while that's not super-duper-amazing compared to something like The Herta going nuts, Dan is doing that damage all the time. It's quite a different strategy from what I'm used to, as I'm not even normal attacking with him because it seems best to purely use his skill to get that lovely ult back as often as possible. In this team specifically, Sunday is also hella boosting Dan's dragon-tailed ass... though Sunday really, really wants to buff himself lmao. He's apparently so done with these guys.
I'm pretty sure the final Elation equation gimmick hit for 100 mil right at the end of the Pollux fight but I didn't get a screenshot and that is a lot of digits to parse quickly without heckin' commas. Three-star equations were Tearless Garden, Beastkin, and Winged Tiger.
Sheesh, the power creep is real. This is the first battle for the current HSR combat event, and this is how it went:
E6S5 Jing Yuan with Sunday, 1 of 4 rewards.
E2S1 The Herta with OG Herta, 4 of 4 rewards.
F2P's DPS Baizhu is doing pretty darn well for not having a crit book, and has even been carrying weekly bosses with Kuki, Xingqui, and a baby level 20 Charlotte on the team mooching friendship xp and procing Noblesse. I'm liking the recent-ish event book on doctah-mon for its passive, since Wanderer won't let go of his Lost Prayer for anything and Yanfei has threatened legal action if I take the account's single R1 Widsith away from her (partly because Wanderer stole Lost Prayer from her to begin with... that case is still ongoing).
Meanwhile on the EU low spenders side of the universe, building Thoma has turned out to be a blast even before future Albedo's arrival. I plan to run alchemy boi with Thoma and hopefully C6 Bennett (he's C5 now, at worst I'll buy the last constellation out of the store when Benny's month arrives again). But yeah, Thoma has been helping Nahida hunt substats for her DPS deepwood set, and gameplay in that domain went from leisurely hyperbloom shielded by Layla, to "OMG WHO CALLED IN THE NUCLEAR STRIKE!???" That'd be the house-husbando, ladies.
Welp... after doing some calculations with the f2p challenge gang, I realized they were 10 fates short of the 240 "worst case scenario" weapon banner amount, if I converted dust to fates. Redhorn Thresher has been on the wishlist for their C6 Noelle for quite a while, and while I want Neuvillette and Baizhu cons... this particular banner combination may never rerun and Chiori's sword is now Albedo's BIS. So... Venti bless us, here we go.
50 wishes in, all the luck for this account arrived: my second double-5-star result in the history of playing Genshin Impact. The EU not-really-low-spenders-anymore actually got the first one yesterday but I'd forgotten to screenshot it. (They R4'd Chiori's sword for their C6 Albedo and R4'd Noelle a Thresher in the process because they have insane luck and I had top-up bonuses still so it was time to spoil them.) Wow. Uh, I'll take it! And maybe Neuvie can get a con once his banner reruns or I'll just forward the stash to Baizhu if there's a Liyue legacy banner sooner than later because his C1 is kind of a big priority. Hmm!
When you're trying to roll into all crit rate...
Surprise early 5-star on Standard banner for the f2p challenge gang, as they were at 9 pity from getting Mizuki. I had to laugh, because I literally just picked Mona as the free 5-star the other day, since that account has never gotten her the old-fashioned way (and they've been playing since version 2). Welp. Your timing, sweetie, it's uh... a bit off. But C1 is C1.
Happy Baizhu is happy. Jelly Scara is jelly, but I don't play hat-boy enough and he works fine on the Lost Prayer. With one dingly-bell snagged and levelled, I did some testing and decided it's better for the f2p challenge to save for Baizhu cons. Or maybe C1 Kazoo, as I have a vague wish for him to be on that account, but I don't have worst-case scenario primos saved for that. Either way, DPS Baizhu can has bigger DPS. Delicious.
150 wishes total, lost the 50/50 to Dehya's claymore which I will be building for... Diluc, probably. IDK, I don't use Dehya much but when I do, I like her on a pure EM build. The only other interesting result from the wish-fest was Layla's C6 which I'm quite happy about. Oh! And a precious, precious Widsith! Their third ever, and it'll get built because I have too many catalyst-users with grabby hands to rank up one of the already-built copies.
